Reality Check
The food is good on monday, Saturday, and Sunday. The service is always terrible. A lot of employees standing around doing nothing but the drinks still have at least 1 flavor out of syrup everytime I go. I tell someone and they say they will let someone know. After 15 minutes or so they will finally decide who has the responsibility to fix it. It is very obvious that nobody really cares about providing good service. The cashier always asks if you need change for a tip when you pay with a card. I am guessing they split the tips. Doesnt even pretend to be happy you chose to eat there but definitely wants to make sure you leavery a tip. The wait staff fills up your drink once and then you never see them again until they are expecting a tip. I still cant figure out why a buffet expects you to tip them for maybe filling your drink once or getting you a drink. Definitely nothing but entitled people expecting paid for nothing. I recommend eating only on the days listed above. The other days your better off eating a rubber boot and saving your money. Dont ever expect good service or pleasant people and enjoy the food. I would rate higher if the majority of the people didnt have such bad attitudes. To be fair I have to admit I have had 2 decent servers in the last year I have been going. Make sure to not go to late past the rushes or the food will be dried out and gross. They seem to not want to do anything extra like replacing the old dried out food until it is gone. That is my chuck a Rama experience.

Ive been to Chuck-A-Rama in Salt Lake many times and its always been pretty decent. Tonight was my first time at the Bountiful location. It took our server a full 20 minutes to make her first appearance at our table. Not only did it take her 20 minutes but she never came back again! We had to get our own drinks during the whole visit. They dont carry mustard...only Chinese hot mustard....gross! It was boiling hot in there. The place closes at 9:00 p.m. and the place was very busy at 8:30 and they were already taking food and desserts off the bars. Absolutely the worst dining experience of my life.

Cheap recycled food. Decided to eat at this place Saturday night. Stay away from it if you want good food. We felt like we were in a zoo. Families and their 10 + kids eating like piggies, the food is made specific for this night, where else can all of these families go eat cheap. Never again, I would rather eat at Macdonald. Too expensive for recycled food. Parents need to teach their kids to eat and behave like humans if the take the kids out to Chuck Arama. Beware....

The worse experience ever we went to eat with my family and kids, the Asian girl treat us like a piece of shi* she didnt even let the kids to get ice cream, and she yell at my nieces and nephews, I dont even do that there not animals, if this restaurant its gonna have waitress like that working for them forget it , and she didnt call the manager we didnt even eat and pay for bullsh**

A better buffet than the rest. They have both Pepsi and Coke products to drink. They have a different theme everyday, for example, Thursdays is Mexican food day. Other days have a different thing, like Italian, and others that I cant remember right now. Their Fried Chicken is usually very very good, the baked chicken is one of the best I have ever tasted.

Good variety with the option of eating as much as youd like. Waitresses clear your table as you get another helping of your favorite or try something new. The food itself was good and the price fair. My favorite was the rotisserie chicken. They also had some great salads. I tried to taste as much as I could but after thirds I could fit no more.

Horrible food!!! 1$ TV dinner tastes better than this! dirty dishes and silver ware, counted 11employees walking around .... To assist maybe 20 tables? How many people you need to serve JUST DRINKS????? THE MOST EXPENSIVE DINNER I EVER HAD!!!! Like another guy wrote in the comments.... MC DONALDS HAS BETTER FOOD FOR LESS!

Chuck-A-Rama is great. It feels like a really good pot luck. The kids love it because once you get a table theres no wait for your food. You can get as much of whatever as you want. Ive always felt that the quality is really good. The only reason anyone would feel sick after eating there is because they ate too much.

Cant believe I ate the whole thing! Only possible complaint is that the fried chicken recipe isnt my favorite (grocery store chicken is better.) Fried chicken pieces are too large, as crazy as that sounds. Make smaller pieces of chicken and change the fried chicken recipe; just seems dry. Everything else is DIVINE.

Terrible place. Bland food, it also felt old. The drinks had way too much sugar in them. The employees were running around too much not doing anything. Then they sat down and talked to one another at a table. I will never again visit chuckarama any where in my life. This brand has been ruined for me.

Im not sure of the quality here, or the sanitation either. When I went with 2 friends, they both got thrown up on. The food wasnt that great and the prices werent that great. Definitely dont like this place and not sure why its still around.

Used to be an awesome place with great food. Cheap food taste, greasy, very oily, high fructose corn syrup taste on starchy under it over cooked food. VERY VERY EXPENSIVE for the horrible taste it presents. NEVER AGAIN!!

Medeocker food at best for a buffet. Little beef selection and a larage chicken selection if your a chicken person. Great drink selection and friendly saff. BreAnn was a great sever/busser always smiling and friendly.

I love it here. My family and I eat here at least once a month. I especially enjoy seafood night there clam chowder reminds me of my grandmothers. Ive never had bad service and recommend this as a great buffet.

The food is of a bland nature, so if thats your thing, this is a great place. It is nice that drinks are included in the buffet price. Server was friendly and offered to refill our drinks frequently.

Ive been eating here 1 or 2 times a month for the last 20 years and have never been disappointed. The food is always good even when theyre not busy unlike some buffets.

Their selection is usually small, I hate that if you go in the wrong day you might get something you dont like unless you like a buffet for pizza thats super pricey
