This place was horrible. The lo mein and rice were the only things I had that werent that bad. From the moment you drive up youd think by the amount of cars pulling in the place must have pretty good food but as soon as you open the door you can tell you may have made mistake because you can see its not a true buffet because the only have 8 dishes and of those seven suppose to be Chinese dishes and the last being French fries?? As we walked closer to the cashier we noticed a man drowning his meal in hot sauce which is always a bad sign. When we had paid the waitress got our drinks and walked them to a booth with either of us there and walked over and told us were our drinks were. So anyone could have came and taken our drinks and since they werent covered bugs could have easily flown into our drinks. But then we thought even though there wasnt a big selection maybe the food they did make was great but oh were we wrong. The chicken labeled food was obviously pork. The egg rolls had no vegetables inside and was very plain the sweet and sour pork was hard and felt burnt and you think they couldnt mess up a fountain drink which by the way arent free refills.. But yes they messed that up too the cup I got was cleaned alright but not rinsed I could taste soap through my orange crush. Overall I wasnt impressed and I strongly urge you not to go here I didnt read the reviews till after but I wish I had

I whent here on Novemeber 27th, 2013 Because it was cheap ($5.89), and it had good reviews. The buffete choice were horrible, (chow mein, fried rice, egg rolls, fried chicken, sweet &sour pork, and some cheap chicken) The only thing that was good was the fried rice, egg rolls were ok, and sweet & sour chicken was ok, some spots in teh fried chicken were good, but some spots tasted bad.) the food didnt tast fresh in texture, nor taste. It was the real china experience though, old interior, bathroom outside, and everyone in there looked homeless or in poverty. But no I would not go back here, I should of have listen to myself at the door when I seen the poor selection and thought to leave. But the only thing that I kind of like is the feeling of we were really eating in china (the poverty part). O and the lady did not even refill our drink.

For a $5.98 buffet this is kind of what I expected, but I didnt think it would be this bad. Firstly, after I paid, the lady behind the cash register gave me the incorrect change, she shorted me out, she gave me less than what I was owed, she lost my trust. Secondly, there is no free refills on drinks, they give you free water, its a $1,25 if you want a refill. Thirdly, if you have children 3 years old & under, its 3 dollars, thats ridiculous, those kids should be eating for free. I will most likely not be going to this place ever again.

I dont normally put reviews up, but I had to on this. first off cash only... not good for business. next the buffet is rice, chow mien, some sort of vegetables, chicken wings, egg rolls, and sweet and sour pork.. very dry by the way. the lady that took the money way not nice at all. no free refills?? I usually look at how many people are at a place before I go in. what I dont get is how many people come to this place...!!?? it sucks! I will say one thing is the egg rolls were not too bad.. wont be back. dont waist your money.

This same food served with little change since I first ate at the Kwans Golden Coin on Apache in Tempe in the late 70s. At least that place was clean, had fresh food and for $2.50 all you can eat as a student, there was no other buffet needed!!! Like its counter part the Autumn Moon in Mesa they strived to keep the same menu for the past 40 years. It is their business plan, it has worked for them, and it isnt going to change. You either like it or you dont. I did as a teenager, I dont like it as an adult.

The food here is surprisingly better than i thought it would be, considering i rarely ever eat cheap food much less cheap all you can eat Chinese food. But do far the food is edible, i dont think Im gonna get food poisoning, and it was after all cheap for dinner with all your can eat and soda. Im dropping stars because it seems impossible to get a refill on soda. So far its been fifteen minutes and I thirsty as heck. Is normally leave a tip, but Im not happy with their service here

this place has went downhill since i began coming there years ago, it was last year was the last straw for my friend and i...we never visit it again..it seems that new people took over, and that is when it went to hell....they downsized the chicken legs for one thing...cannot sit where u want, the waitress was rude, and told me where to sit..they had a tip jar, it just began showing up...i can see why, they probably got no tips ...they will not last if they don,t change ....

Was craving some Chinese food while in Phoenix, AZ and found this place on Yelp. The food is exceptional for the price. My favorite was the Hong Kong chow men; the best Ive had in a while. It was only $9.25 for a very generous portion. Lost a star because I also ordered a veg with prawn but instead got chicken. I didnt mention it because I was so hungry and didnt want to wait to fix the issue. Tasted good anyway. Service was attentive-sh. Good enough for me!!

If Your In The Mood For 5 Options Of Total Crap At A So Called Buffet Then Golden Coin Is Your Next Stop On The Menu Is 3 Out Of 5 Things That Arent Even Close To Being Chinese. It Was The Worst Experience In A Restraunt I Have Ever Had It Was Dark Quiet Everyone Looked Depressed And The The One Hand Amount Of Options Should Keep This Place From Being Labeled A Buffet Dont Visit Unless You Want To Waste Money And Devour Terrible Food -JC

I cant believe people actually eat here. Look at the health boards grades for this place to start with. Second, look around when you go in; that should be plenty of warning. Lastly I know an ex-cook from here who tells the most horrific stories about the food you could imagine. Run. Run away. More likely to get a clean decent meal in that dump up the street Armandos....and thats saying something.

Not a very clean place. We My family and I have been going here for decades because its cheap and some of the food can be pretty good. But the people there are not very nice and we have also found a cockroach in the noodles. We told the lady working there and she said thats normal, they fall off the ceiling into the food while cooking. Highly recommended if you like crunchy cockroach.

I go here when I am around this area and dont want to bother looking for something else to eat. Yes it is very cheap snd it is all you can eat but the slection is so small. There about 6 items to eat not including rice and noodles. The food is not all that great but again it is cheap so you are getting what you pay for. The worst part is you pay 2$ for a drink and you get no refills.
