We have been here 3 different times. The first time the food was absolutely amazing but the bar service was horrible. I wouldnt suggest ordering a mixed drink. It was their opening week so we figured we needed to give them a little time and another chance. The second time we went for lunch and waited an hour for our order. We were the only ones there and only ordered grilled cheese sandwiches, which came out under cooked. The third time we went in was this Friday. The food came out slow and has taken a fall in quality. The bar service is still sub-par and they have a poor local selection. We wanted to try other drinks but our waiter was too busy watching TV and checking out the Touch Tunes jukebox selection. I had very high hopes for this place. I realize they are still relatively new but they have some big problems to work out.

Location is ok, but food is mediocre. The service we experienced was very poor. All but one of the party got their dinner, but that one person had to wait almost 30 minutes on top of the wait we already had. Our server did not know what Harp lager is, did not know the cut of meat for the steak special and ignored the table when we tried to get her attention. The manager tried to make up for the service we received, but unfortunately, this experience soured us on Harp & Hound and we will not be going back.

This is the 4th time I have been here, bad service! Sat at the bar for 10 mins without service and they werent busy at all. The bartender was more concerned with talking to her friends then serving customers. For an Irish pub the menu is lacking Irish food. We had high hopes that this bar would be modeled after the piper down and unfortunately its not. They cant do a traditional black and tan which to me means you cant really call yourself an Irish pub. Disappointed on all fronts.

Excellent food, and an excellent staff. They do their best to make sure you are well accommodated. Of course times get busy so there is a wait but they are very friendly and doesnt feel like an over crowded bar like brewskies where you feel like a number rather than a customer. The waiters/waitresses are very nice and welcoming. I love the feel of this place and always go in when I can

Was given very poor treatment here. The server minimally communicated with us which made us feel unwanted. She kept trying to take our plates before we were finished, and she moved our stuff around our own table so that she could wipe under it. Our Irish nachos came out cold and without the corned beef cabbage. Overall the experience was very disappointing.

My husband and I stopped in today, during the Art Festival. The place was almost empty since everyone was across the street. We were thinking of just having a cold beer but I am glad we decided to eat. The Irish burger and the Irish Philly cheese steak were both really good. The service was spot on. I was really impressed and we will be back.

This place is nice, clean, good atmosphere and has the best vegan menu in Ogden. I dont drink but I go there regularly just for the food. Lots of people say that Ogden is going through a renaissance, Harp and Hound is a perfect example of that. Finally a place thats not dive-y and gross and with a legit vegan menu.

The worst part about my meal was i had the choice of tots, fries, soup, or salad. I chose the soup and pared it with a cuban. I know really? The soup was clam chowder. Which brings up the problem of my meal. The Crowder is so good i only want to eat it.

Thought I was ordering regular chicken when I ordered the mother clucker. It was vegan. And to be honest... amazeballs. Love the harp n hound. Next I will try the totchos mmm. I will be going there a lot. Promt service too!!

Great new place to grab a drink and a creative meal. The Tacos were super awesome and the decor is bright and quirky, ( I had a small bout of passing out in the parking lot and the restaurant staff was wonderful)

The staff is amazing. They cause you to lose track of time so you dont really care if youre hungry. They make you smile and feel like family. I highly recommend this bar if you want to feel at home.

Food is good and the environment is nice, but waiting 50 minutes for a meal on a Wednesday night when there are only 10 other patrons in the restaurant is ridiculous. Wont be coming back for food.
