I liked this place and I will come again. The atmosphere is pleasant, not too loud. No intrusive music and no weird country kitsch or hipster decor. Spacious and airy. We came in around 8-830a on a Sunday and got seated right away. Very shortly after that, though, there seemed to be substantial wait times. Our server was Ashten, who was super nice and attentive. Out of nowhere, my son remarked, "She really likes her job." Everybody seemed cheerful. The seasoned potatoes are excellent. It was no problem to sub tomatoes for meat. My wife had eggs florentine, which came with greens with a light vinaigrette. She would have preferred potatoes, but the salad was fresh. Thick slice of multigrain toast, comes buttered. I found everything cooked the right amount, so the kitchen was not overwhelmed. Good kids menu with lots of choices. Kids had French toast and chocolate chip pancake. It actually looked good with a reasonable amount of chocolate and not a ridiculous amount like a lot of places have. Around $40 for a family of 4 plus drinks, so good value. Thanks folks!

We were headed to Matts Big Breakfast at noon on a Sunday only to find a long line outside on a very hot day. So that wasnt happening. Google pointed us to First Watch which was right down the street. Its a bit set back but clean and nicely laid out. The staff is super friendly in a natural way - they hire well. The food is definitely not run of the mill breakfast fare. Most selections were well thought out and interesting. My better half had the ham and gruyere which was scrumptious. Our waitress face light up when she ordered it so our expectations were high and well met. Im a NYC transplant so the smoked salmon frittatta seemed a good choice. Not quite as amazing as my wifes smarter selection, but still exceptionally good for a bagel and lox aficionado. So well definitely be back to First Watch. Overall one of Phoenixs best breakfast choices and a wonderful dining experience.

This one is beautifully remodeled, but the quality of food and service does not compare to the one up in North Scottsdale which has bigger portions that dont sacrifice quality, timely service etc. For example, the one up North makes their potatoes with real diced onion & this location seems to have doused their potatoes in onion powder instead & the omelets here are smaller and eggs dried out- not ever the case up north. Its just not as great. I mean, this location is pretty good, but the one up north is by far my favorite breakfast restaurant in the valley for value & quality and worth driving a little further.

A must try in Phoenix... The Bacado and the Egg Hash Skillet (farmhouse) were amazing and just fresh served with whole wheat grain and nut combination toast and fruit (store bought quality but good). This place was half empty on a Sunday morning when IHOP was packed... and it should have been the opposite with how good and healthy the food tasted. An occasion place to eat and just a slice more expensive than ihop... but 100% worth trying. Atmosphere feels warm with the wood finish floor and tables with a home-style kitchen feel to the interior.

The portions were generous and our waitress was on the ball and upbeat. The decor is sort of country/farm house kitchen, with functional chairs and frying pans on the wall. Menu items were a little pricey if comparing to other breakfast places like IHOP or Dennys, but they were prepared with super fresh ingredients, had large portions and good presentation, so I didnt mind paying the extra few dollars. Cant wait for it to warm up a little outside so we can try the patio next time.

Love the food....not so much the management...3 weekends in a row with issues with the cell phone app they use to seat people...last weekend, we sat at the bar and waited 40 minutes for breakfast (while another patron at the bar that had been seated about 20 minutes after we sat there got his food in 10 minutes, while his lady sat there without food) and when we got it, it was lukewarm to cool. Left immediately.....

A wonderful place to grab breakfast! The restaurant is roomy and accommodating. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, I would highly suggest the chickichonga. They do not take reservations, but you can put your name on the list for larger parties using the NoWait app. Food is reasonably priced and they offer a wide variety of fresh juices.

First time visit. Sunday brunch here. Amazing! We gave up waiting at Matts big breakfast down the street. This place is a pleasant surprise. No wait @ 12:30 on a Sunday. Nice staff. Nice decor. Relaxed vibe. Food was awesome! Highly recommend the ham and gruyère melt with tomato soup! So good! Were definitely coming back here.

Great Belgian waffle, but the scrambled eggs I ordered were .... the only word I can think of is hard, not light and fluffy. First time there, so I will most likely try it again. The atmosphere was sort of unusual, different from the location to which I have been. Not bad, but a surprise.

I will never go back to this location. Service is horrible. Three straight weekends with three different servers. Other patrons served before us and we were seated first. Food served cold. One meal served while the other came out after. Much better service at Park Central location.

I love the a.m. breakfast bowl! Its a delicious vanilla chia seed pudding with fruit. It also comes with almond buttered toast and I ask for extra house made blackberry preserve to spread on top! Everything here is amazing, but that is my absolute favorite!

Yummy! The food was awesome, the service was above and beyond, and the ambience was superb. But really though, that whole wheat toast made me rethink quitting bread. Ill be back. What a find and right before the new year. Like I said, Ill be back.

Fantastic Food, great service & pleasant ambiance. Though I believe that everyone will have a different experience, depending upon the day and time and whom you are enjoying your meal with. We went after Church on a Sunday.

The food was amazing. It is different than any other franchise, because it is not a franchise! Delecious place to eat, and perfect place to take out of Towners. If you get Eric as a waiter, youll feel like youre very important.

We had a party of 22 on a Saturday morning and we were seated in less than 20 minutes at one table!!! Both the food and service were phenomenal. Tons of healthy choices. Without a doubt, I would return there for breakfast.

All I can say is WOW. This is the best restaurant I have been to on my cross-country road trip I am currently on. The breakfasts are amazing, and the staff is extremely friendly and make you feel welcome.

Good food, but the service was not great, it was a bit busy, but several waiters completely ignored us for even asking if something could put us on the 10 minute wait list.
