Excellent service, fresh ingredients, bad cooking. Staff are friendly & welcoming. Paul is a first class server. We were very well taken care of. I had tofu scramble with arugula and red peppers. The tofu is the silken type and many pieces were still in the shape of the original box packaging. There was no physical appearance, taste or texture to indicate that it had been prepared in any way other than being warmed in a microwave. There were no sear marks from a pan, nor roast marks from an oven. The tofu was not in any way seasoned. It would be better to simply take this item off the menu, or provide proper training in its preparation. The red peppers were in the same condition (minus the box shape). The fresh baby arugula provided the only flavor. Toast is your standard sliced bread and served without butter or margarine, so you have to ask for that. On the plus side, its not soaked in liquid shortening. It was very lightly toasted. The hash browns are served as a cake, about the size and shape of a hockey puck. One side is lightly seared, but all other surfaces and the inside are gummy and starchy. These are very clearly fresh potatoes, so they should not be prepared to taste like a rehydrated "product." The eggs were standard diner fare, albeit not greasy-looking. The atmosphere is geared toward the hip millennial crowd but it is also very family-friendly. The kids menu has nice choices and not weird nuggety characters. Kids food ingredients were also fresh. I wonder if this kitchen was overwhelmed by and unprepared for a Saturday 8 am crowd. I would hate to think that this place would cook like this on purpose, after going to the trouble to hire high quality staff and buy high quality ingredients.

This is a lovely place; warm and welcoming. There is the choice between eating at the bar, sitting outside, or the patio or dining-in. We typically head to the bar area and ask for the Happy Hour menu. The wine pours are generous & the people who work the bar area are very attentive and friendly. There is an array of Happy Hour choices--I enjoy their caprese salad where the chef chops everything into smaller bites. There are economically priced small pizzas that look delicious and Ive also noticed that a lot of folks order the very healthy portion of calamari. I ordered off the regular menu a plentiful seafood salad that was loaded with calamari, crab etc. on a grilled romaine bed. There are very moderate pricing options and, also, some pricier dishes. I would recommend LAmore as a welcoming neighborhood restaurant with attentive staff and an array of good food choices. There is sometimes musical entertainment in the evenings as well.

My ratng is strictly about service. My server was rude and actually rolled his eyes and yawned while I was ordering. He also forgot the condiments I had asked for. He never once asked how the food was or checked on me. He placed the bill on my table in passing. This ignorant kid needs to get schooled on people skills and probably life in general. He was thin light on his feet type with hair like a cycling helmet. I dont remember his name because its not worth it. I tipped the fool too!....shame on me. Food was great and the others I interacted with were super however one bad apple.........I wont be back because I dont live here. I will check out the Breakfastc Club though as Ive been told it is amazing.

Our party of 4 went here for breakfast on labor day. We had a 30 minute wait before being seated. I had the duo of eggs Benedict, the Benny Goodman and the chili Verde . Both were excellent. Everyone else in the party raved about their meals as well. Our waitress was kind enough to bring us over a sample pancake with pecans and ginger butter. I dont have much of a sweet tooth but it was easily one of the best pancake Ive ever had. However, It was so decadent that i would caution getting a whole order as your entire meal. I would instead get 1 on the side or split an order. Everything here was great, from the service to the food. The prices were also very reasonable. Well definitely be back.

I have been going to Snooze for quite a while. I eat there two to three days a week. The food is great. I went there today and they didnt have any tables. I didnt mind waiting for the next available table. I waited five to ten minutes before another guy came up. He was pushy and complaining about waiting for a table. Some people left and the tables were being cleaned. The pushy guy started bitching about a table and they sat him. They asked me to wait for the next table to be cleaned. It became apparent to me that Snooze does not value my patronage and I left. Unfortunately, I will never go to Snooze again. Luckily, theres a ton of breakfast places on Phoenix with really great food.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Arrived at 10:34 and told by the hostess that it would be a 45 minute wait. We watched 4 other groups that arrived after us be sat prior to us. When asked how much longer we were told we were next on the list. As we stood by the door they said two more parties ahead of us. We asked the hostess again how long the wait would be since it was now 11:17. We were rudely told by the brunette hostess that she was unable to tell us and we would have to wait. She showed us our name and we had dropped to 5th on the list. Living in San Diego, Colorado and now Arizona we have eaten at our fair share of Snooze establishments. Never again at this location.

HOMOPHOBIC AND RACIST!!!!! My friend and I got attacked by a managers friend who threatened to beat my friend to death only because hes a black gay guy wearing an army camo print t-shirt!?!? This happened with the manager Blake standing RIGHT next to this man and smiling while his friend was dropping death threats to us. We were minding our business and to be attacked like that for no reason and with the FULL SUPPORT of the manager is UNACCEPTABLE !!!!! If you want death threats with your overpriced poached eggs, this is great place for it. Make sure you say hi to racist, homophobic, incompetent manager Blake.

Awesome breakfast place! There was a 40 minute wait on a Saturday morning but it was well worth it. I had the Snooze Potatoes Deluxe, my wife had the Snooze Breakfast Potpie, and we shared the Peanut Butter Pancakes. All were deliciously awesome. While I was waiting for my wife (she was shopping next door) I struck up a conversation with my server (Angela) about how I was hungry, she shortly returned with a Sweet Potato Pancake to hold me until my wife showed. Awesome customer service! Also the pancake was the best I ever had and Ive eaten a lot of pancakes. Overall well be visiting here again real soon.
