Let me just start by saying this buffet is cheap. Dinner Mon-Sat is $5.99, lunch is less ($4.99 I think), and Sun is $6.99 all day. Drinks are $1.99. I had a coupon which got me a free drink with the buffet. I dont think there are any buffets cheaper than this. And for the price you actually get a pretty decent selection. They have crab, shrimp, broccoli beef, pizza, buffalo wings, baked mussels, fried fish, baked fish, various chicken entrees, spicy mushrooms, bok choy, dumplings, eggrolls, crab rangoo, french fries, dinner sausage, crawfish and a lot more. Their ads claim they have over 80 items. The food is no better or worse than most chinese buffets Ive been to. The crab is not snow crab legs. These are seasoned crab with short stubby legs. I didnt try any because it looked like too much effort. Also the shrimp is not peeled but they do have battered fried shrimp. I had jalapeno chicken, fried rice, spicy mushrooms, baked mussels, lo mein, batter fried shrimp, ginger chicken, hot and sour soup with fried wonton strips, eggroll, dumplings (potstickers), pepperoni pizza, cheese pizza, french fries, fried fish, buffalo wings and soft serve. Again, most of it tastes like it does at any chinese buffet. The pizza was a bit too doughy, there was too much mayo in the baked mussels. The jalapeno chicken and spicy mushrooms were good. Im not sure why they call it spicy mushroom because it wasnt really spicy. The buffalo wings were good as well but they didnt taste the same as regular wings plus they left my fingers very sticky like they may have had starch. And the soft serve was thicker, richer and better than most others Ive had. As with most chinese buffets, the salad bar is sparse but they did have a spring mix and grape tomatos but hardly anything else, just some cucumbers, iceberg lettuce, hard boiled egg halves, pepperoncinis and croutons. They also had what looked like roasted whole jalapenos and some really watered down pico de gallo as well as tortilla chips (most of the clientele were hispanic). They had 3 soups, egg drop, hot and sour, and wonton. And for dessert just some fruit, fruit salads, and soft serve ice cream. The downsides were the decor and size. The restaurant looks old and kind of dirty. It looks like it used to be a Dennys or some sort of diner on the inside. I went around 4pm on a Sat and it was packed. But not only was the restaurant too small for the amount of business it gets but they squeeze all the food onto 3 buffet lines that are close to each other. Youre constantly bumping into other people to get at the food. It was almost like standing room only at the buffet lines. As far as service goes, there is none. You pay before you eat, you seat yourself, and you get your own drinks. There is one employee picking up the used plates off your table. I left a buck but I didnt see anyone else tipping. Overall I would likely go back simply because its such a great value. If youre looking for sushi or mongolian bbq as part of your chinese buffet or ambience, then go somewhere else. But if youre looking to fill up on basic american style chinese food with a few extras for a rock bottom price, then you wont be disappointed. I simply cannot overstate how cheap this buffet is. You cant even get most burger meal deals for $5.99 much less a 2 entree dinner at Panda Express. How can this place make any money?

The selection of food is nothing short of awesome and the quality makes Panda Express seem like the Chinese surprise you would get back in the school cafeteria on Tuesdays. Make no mistake, you will not find better Chinese for $8.99 or any price for that matter. Seriously, this food is better than P.F. Changs. However, the restaurant’s physical appearance can best be described as "ghetto fabulous". The paint is falling off the walls, there is dust everywhere and under the table next to mine there was what appeared to be half of a dead lobster?!!!? Also there are sings everywhere that read "PLEAS DO NOT WAST" in both English and Arizona’s "official" language, (Spanish). Now as for the people who dine there..... well, if you don’t mind sitting next to everything from gangsters to transvestites then you shouldn’t have any problems. Also the staff only speak chinese and some Spanish (go figure). One final note: it would be wise to take a heavy, blunt object (such as a baseball bat or night-stick) with you when enter the men’s room to fight off the massive roaches and the junkie hiding in the toilet stall. But hey, the Dim Sum is bomb as hell.

I have always driven by here so curious because it seemed like a decent place to check out. I dont like to give bad reviews, but if the shoe fits Im not going to lie. First the cashier was not very pleasant or courteous. She didnt even smile once. The smell of the restaurant was mostly fishy but it was expected regardless that it wasnt very exciting. The food selection was decent but the taste was not all that memorable. most of the fried chicken i.e. terrayaki, orange, honey, tasted bland and the texture was slimy or runny. the noodles tasted extremely salty. They had chips but not meat or cheese to put on top of them. Their dessert selection was reduced to two different cake types and overly ripe bananas covered in a pink syrup. The ice cream tasted cheap but that was probably the only good part. I would not recommend anyone to try this place and I will never return. This was the worst Chinese buffet Ive ever been to.

The food isnt terrible, but 2 things stood out that really bothered me this last visit. For one, the onions in their fried rice are ALWAYS crunchy for some reason, and theyre never cooked all the way through. Secondly, for whatever reason last night, the French fries were refilled after my first round at the buffet EXCEPT that they were old crunchy and cold. I dont know if they filled it up more than once with the old fries (that was my impression after going back up to the buffet several times but I could have been mistaken) but the one time was enough for me to actually complain on a review which I never do. That being said, I understand why its an $8 dinner buffet, most of their food is pretty good its just that it came off as really lazy for them to refill their French fry basket with cold crunchy fries.

Place is okay. Service is fast. Like bussing the tables. Keeping the dining area clean. Very efficient. Mens room had used paper towels all over the counter. Heres what I have noticed. With buffett style places, if you pay before you eat, the food tends to be not as good. Idk if it is a we have your money thing or what not. It is just true more often than not. The food pales in comparison to Hong Kong Gourmet Buffett in Ahwatuakee. My beef and broccoli was not great. Broccoli was limp and flavor was lacking. Egg roll. Not crispy. Not crunchy. Everything was just not that good.

Ive gone here for quite a while mostly because its cheap and close to where I live and thats it. If youre looking for a top class place for chinese food this isnt it. Renovated from an old Dennys restaurant, the building isnt in the best condition but it still works for what its worth. They are creative with their buffet but some of it is geared towards the general population of spanish-speaking customers. The spanish speaking customers are more dominant by what the 2 TVs have on most of the time. If you enjoy a multi-cultured chinese restaurant feel free to try this one.
