Ambiguous Identity
Hadnt been here in a while and was not impressed at all last time. Figured Id give it another try as I had found a coupon online for 2 free egg rolls with a $15 purchase. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Shrimp, an order of Vegetable Fried Rice and of course the 2 free egg rolls. The S+S Shrimp comes with a pint of sticky white rice and I asked if I could substitute that for a vegetable fried rice, if I paid more for it. I was told "No, we dont do that". So that forced me to purchase an order of veggy fried rice and toss the white rice when I got home. The S+S Shrimp was bland, little taste to the shrimp and the sauce was not very sweet....bland at best. A couple pineapples, peppers and onions thrown in for looks, I suppose. The Veggy Fried Rice was okay, but also bland as I needed to add all 3 packets of soy sauce to it and even then it was ehhhh. Egg rolls were again...bland, needed soy sauce and they were not very crispy, kind of soft. Maybe not deep fried long enough??? And as I said, the white rice was a waste as it was not eaten and tossed. For $20, wasnt worth it, at least not for what I ordered. Sorry, I wont be back. Too many options in this city to settle for mediocre.

Worst experience ever. Our waitress brought the wrong order. When we asked to bring the correct one the waitress without hesitate said it was our fault and took off. We were speechless. Immediately a woman came (she never introduced herself so l dont know if she was the owner, the cook or the manager). She, literally, raising her voice said.. "I DONT KNOW WHOS FAULT IS SO I WILL CHANGE THE ORDER FOR THE THIS TIME, BUT ONLY FOR THIS TIME" and as quickly as she came, she left. At this point we were so shocked that we got up, paid for our soups and left the restaurant. We couldnt understand what happened. Still we cant. I have never saw or experienced such a disgusting attitude towards a costumer for just pointing out..." sorry, this is the wrong order ". Just to mention... As we were paying we saw an elderly lady having an argument with the same waitress. Nevertheless to say l do not recommend this place. I would like to give it zero stars, but l cant only give 1 as minimum.

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. Last night was the last time. I ordered four meal to go at 10.00am to be picked up between 6:30 and 6:45. I entered the restaurant at 6:40 and waited my turn to be helped. Paid for my food and sat and watched as people would come in and place their order and leave before my order. Three people came in and placed an order and left before me. They kept telling me that they were wrapping it up. I wanted my money back and I would go some where else and then they came out with my order after 7:00pm. I called to let the manager know how displeased I was and she told me it was because they were short. If they were short, how did three people place an order and leave before my order. She offered me 20% off my next visit. She could have offered me free meals and I would never come back. This is no way to treat good customers.

My parents live in Sun City and are quite picky with what they like, and after eating here with them I understand why they like it. Although the restaurant and its staff dont have much of a bedside manner they make up for it in efficiency and attention to detail. Drinks are always full, they let you know they are always there and willing, and are efficient enough to memorize 2 couples and a picky grandmothers order without writing it down. The waiter/waitress they ask for when dining there call our grandma "grandma" and joke with us like family. Frills, bells, and whistles are for some people and thats their choice but if you want attentive, efficient service at a great price and have a "hankerin " for chinese, this is the place for you.

There is plenty of good restaurants in the arrowhead area and please stay away from this one...I have given them chances to improve but one dissapointment after another and I said enough! They count the shimp one by one...I mean I have had like 5 shimp total in my fried rice with shimp, seafood soup has frozen imitation crab, couple of shimps and vegetable that are not boiled enough...its horrible! If you want to eat well and not feel bad after eating your meal please go somewhere else, even panda express beats this place by 5 times! So imagine... Anyways...I do love all kinds of asian food but they simply cheat on theirs...its should not be even called "good china" but "poor china"....

We ordered take-out from the Peoria restaurant. First, their menu was extensive and their prices reasonable, and they had our food ready very quickly - within 15 minutes. When we got there, the hostess was very friendly and our food was just coming out of the kitchen - no complaints there! The food was pretty decent. I ordered spring rolls (just meh) and a Happy Family (fairly good, but missing the sea legs & bamboo shoots that are in most HFamily dishes.) The big disappointment came with the rice. They gave us one order per two people and no choice of what we wanted - we automatically received white. Overall, would recommend.

I have no complaints about the food, it is excellent. We order take out from here a lot and the young girls that work the register are always nice but there is one lady that has the worst attitude and she has to be related too the owners since she has been there for quite some time. I forgot my coupon for free crab Puffs so she told me to go get my coupon and she proceeded to take them out of my bag, No big deal but she was so rude how she handled it and on top of it all several people I know have commented about the unfriendly lady that works at good China. She needs to work on her people skills

If I could I would give zero stars! I couldnt have been more dissapointed. I was so looking.forward to this restaurant especially after the other reviews. The service was pleasant and that is about the only good thing.I can say about this experience. We ordered 5 different items and they all disappointed and fell short. Something as basic as fried rice is pretty basic hard to mess up and yet theirs was pathetic. I know AZ isnt ever going be comparable to N.Y.or Boston Chinatown but come on this is one.of ther worst Chinese restaurants ever.

I have been going here for years and I think the food is great, the service is usually good but the one thing I have to complain about is the taste of the beverages. For years I have tried the iced tea, hot tea, water, and Coke, and they all taste funny/bad. I order iced tea everywhere I go - I know when it tastes OK and when it doesnt, and something is wrong here, and it is consistently bad. It almost has to be the water since everything is affected. Its absolutely disgusting. Im surprised more people dont complain.
