My date and I came in on a weekday so nobody was eating at the time. We were greeted by all the people that worked there with a smile and a welcome so thats awesome! The environment seemed appropriate with music and decorations. The menus were a bit faded on the back though. The servers were on track and always focused on the customers and their needs. We had a guy with a ponytail and he was awesome and funny, took the time to talk with us and recommended some items to eat! In terms of the food, we ordered crab puffs, veggie lo mein, and honey sesame chicken. The food was delicious while not bland nor over greased like other typical Chinese restaurants! They provided enough rice to balance out the meal which is normally a complaint of mine since most places dont give enough rice! I love rice since Im Asian! Actually there was more rice than food in the end! The chicken was crispy and white, just right! The crab puffs were great too with a side of sweet and sour. But my favorite was the lo mein, it wasnt greasy and the taste was spot on. My date loves lo mein and she said its one of the best she tasted! As for the drinks, they were never emptied since they had awesome staff! Will definitely be coming back for more! Thanks! The price is good here if not fair! I dont know why Google puts three $ for the place! Not expensive!

Im probably like the others on here that frequented at their China Gate old metro center location and were really bummed out when it closed down. My family and I love this food and have been for more than 16 years. You really cant go wrong here, everything Ive tried is great, you wont be worried about leftovers and the family behind the restaurant is awesome. Karaoke night is also a lot of fun and was a great idea. The location is great too. Even though I now live in Tempe where the chinese food is either absent or less than satisfactory, I still go back once a month just to get my fix and have a friendly conversation. And yes, the Mongolian beef - should be regarded as best in Phx, hands down.

First time ordering online and the last time ever buying food here! I placed an order with fried rice which I paid for, When I noticed it was plain white rice I called to have a refund and they made such a huge deal about refunding me my $1.00 dollar. I simply asked to give me back what they didnt deliver, instead they had me take pictures of my food and send it to someone cell phone at the restaurant to prove it, which is totally unprofessional! Take your customers word China Grill!! Especially over one dollar! Me or my co-workers will never order form here again!

My second time coming here. Ive yet to get my meal yet, but service was door-still-open-behind-me fast, same as last time. I was telling friends and family about this place before I even got the check. Very personable staff. If my dish of teriyaki chicken is anything like it was the first time, Ill be a long time customer. Small location betrays this returaunts relatively open interior. Not cramped, just quiet. Definition of a 5 star experience.

I order from this place all the time. Delivery is on point as well as the food and service. Sweet & Sour, Mussells, Crab Puffs, Terayaki Chicken, All the fried rices. If you have kids that do not like Chinese the cheeseburger is really good. Still exploring the menu every week. Used to work at a really good Chinese place for 4 years and this is the closet I have come to it. Stoked I live in the delivery area! Keep up the good work.

The only reason I gave one star is for the service..the food was OK but the portions where a joke..Ive seen more food on childrens menu..Ive been to lots of other Chinese restaurants who serve plenty where two can dine of one..if I combine the 3 dishes we got it would still fall short..from now on Ill stick to happy food or good China..

Where do I start?... This place has the best Chinese food anywhere in my opinion... The staff is friendly as well as the atmosphere its warm and inviting. The food portions are excellent and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. If you leave here hungry, its your own fault. Get in there peeps!!! Its the one!!!

We ordered the Orange Chicken and General Taos Chicken as delivery and loved it! The chicken was really good quality and both meals were delicious. The delivery was fast and polite. We will definitely order from China Grill again.

Yuck! This place food taste like its cooked with dirty dishes. My egg fo yung had a weird smell like pee. Orange chicken was soggy. Fried rice tastes burn and old. Please dont expirement with this place. It was a bad choice for me.

I LOVE this place!!! I used to go there once a week when it was over by Metro Center, when I found the new location in Peoria I was so happy and even happier that the Mongolian beef was the same!!! Great food, great service!!!!

Im very picky about my Chinese food and I have tried every restaurant in my area. This restaurant is by far the best one! Sweet and sour chicken and honew crispy chicken was delicious. Definitely going back soon.

The rice was really good but the sweet and sour is odd. It tastes as if they put cinnamon in it. Just not right. The fried rice is very good though. Overall I would go somewhere else.
