WHOA!!!!!!!!!! Walked in and was greeted from a far and told to sit at a dirty booth until she cleaned it. Sat down and she cleaned table. She then walked away. Came back about 10-15 mins later and asked us what we wanted as she leaned on our table to write in her note pad. Ummmm we dont have a menu, silverware or water! She then had someone bring us all those things. Came back few mins later and said nothing just looked at us! WTF?! We gave her our order. She then said only 2 of us can use register. Ummm ok. Very rude. It is like we walked into a scene from the Twilight Zone! Maybe they dont like anyone under the age of 65yr. Not sure but it was a really bizzare experience. I understand being busy. I use to work in this industry. BUT to be rude is a whole different story. Overheard her tell a table " you need to be patient" when asked when food would be out. Are you serious!? Then she comes by our table and says "I dont blame you if you dont leave me a tip!" Im hearing the theme song over and over! Haha. Also having your customers have to get things off of their shelves is unacceptable. Very unprofessional! We waited almost an entire hour for our food! Received our food and my boyfriend was told "they dont have home fries so you dont have any. She charges extra anyways." What!?! Food was nothing special. It was edibile. Not good. Definitely will not be back. Im surprised they are open with the type of service that occured. I watched a couple tables get up and leave. So it wasnt just us. Unbelievable!

Food isnt very good, everything is over priced, and its the type of place that will give you Mr Pibb when you ask for Dr Pepper thinking you wont notice. $17 for one person is ridiculous. Their combos dont include much, $8 for french toast, 1 sausage and 1 egg, so you have to order à la carte if you want a normal sized meal. I was trying out new breakfast places in the area, found that the place right next door has better food at lower prices. The service wasnt as good, but I will take good food and bad service any day over bad food and good service.

Do not be put off by the lack of fancy corporate merchandising. This spotless place is the kind we grew up with in a small town. Friendly staff, great food, and excellent service. Fran, the owner meets and greets and keeps things humming. Nothing fancy, just the best biscuits and gravy I have ever eaten, wonderful hot beef sandwich (gravy and mashed taters mmmm!), excellent coffee, superb waffles. Its all good at great low prices. We hit Frans 3 or times a week, and have never been disappointed.

Love the place. Building is old bit doesnt take away from the excellent food and service. That Ryan person has it all wrong. These people who run and work there are very aware how to handle food. Frans gives the local restaurants a run for their money. Having just found Frans, I will keep going there for their wonderful food and desserts.

Bad food, mixed service. I had a guy named Mike that was friendly one day, then a lady who wasnt very nice the next day. Both days the food was mediocre. Most of the reviews I see on here are from older people, so maybe their sense of taste has diminished over time? Prices are also too high for the quality and amount of food they offer.

My family and I go to Frans Restaurant on Sundays after church. The food is very good just like my mom made when I was growing up. And the staff is very friendly - Fran, Brenda, Heather, Sam and all the other girls. I suggest you try their food and enjoy your breakfast or lunch.

Good service, bland overpriced food. The clientele consists of people in their 80s complaining about not getting a penny back in their change, makes me feel bad for the waitstaff. It also explains why everyone thinks the food is good because they cant taste to begin with.

We were seated and not given a waiter, then they got us coffee. Finally 10 minutes later we were able to flag someone down for creamer. Then we had to once again flag someone else down another 5 minutes later to ask for a menu.... Still dont have a waiter
