The worst experience I have had at a restaurant thus far. First of all it cost $40 for 3 of us. They give you small drinks when you first walk in, you have to ask for refills. Finally found a table in the corner with enough space for 2 people. So one of us had to sit on the edge. We were there no longer than 5 minutes when we were asked to show our receipt, as if we snuck in. We started eating and my girlfriend pulled a long white piece of plastic out of her mouth, it was in the salad. I went to tell the manager, she just shrugged and said it was probably piece of a glove. It was not it was hard and white. She finally apologized and said they will bring out new salad. So my girlfriend starting eating clam chowder again a bone or something hard and white in it like a bone she said it felt like she bit on a small rock. The pizza that I got was old and the onion rings were slimy in the middle with no onion? We were disgusted. So we said ok lets get ice cream and leave, not even eating a full meal. There were so many kids and people crowded in our area we decided to switch to another table on the other side. A waitress stopped us and asked why we are switching tables like we are kids. I said we paid $40 we are moving. So she said ok. We go to get ice cream and the ice cream machine is covered in ice cream and crushed cones, someone could clean that. I go to get a bowl and I had to pick through about 5 bowls to find a clean one. Each bowl had food on the edge or something in it, not clean at all! Same with spoons. Finally go back to the table when the waitress brings me a new Sprite I look at it and there is brown stuff floating at the top. I went and told the manager again and all she did was apologize and give me a new Sprite. My gf seeing how mad I was said F* this lets leave. So we left $40 lost, still hungry, upset and wondering if we ate something bad or unclean. We came home and immediately started having stomach problems. F* this place they need to be reported to proper health agencies and be put out of business. If you eat here dont be surprised if you gey food poisoning. Its a option for families with a lot of kids but is it worth it? I say not. Just youtube Golden Corral and you will see what these places are about.

We thoroughly enjoy this location of Golden Corral. The food has always been fresh and the temperature just perfect. This location has recently acquired a smoker and has cooked some outstanding smoked meats that one has got to taste! The smoked, pulled pork is absolutely delicious. The pulled pork is on the buffet plain with three different bottles of BBQ sauce for you to decide which one you want to put on your meat. Ask your waiter for some of their homemade buns, get some pork BBQ and coleslaw and make the most delicious sandwich along with some baked beans. The smoked brisket will melt in your mouth. I had a sliver of fat that was still on there last night, it melted in my mouth like liquid smoke..... and when they serve the prime rib! Oh my, you cant go wrong! There is just so many good foods and everything is fresh there at the Golden Corral. As you eat, you can watch as the fruits and veggies are being cut. Watch as cakes are decorated, sugar spun into cotton candy, dough into rolls, and so much more. The price has gone up with the minimum wage increase. Along with the price increase, Golden Corral has also upped the quality and items they are offering you for the buffet. I dont think you can eat this good anywhere else in the valley for this price. Linda, the store manager, is a fair a decent woman who wants all of her customers to be happy. Please leave a tip even though this is a buffet because you do get service here from the wait staff. They bring you your drinks, rolls and anything else you request. Senior Early Bird price from 2-4pm M-F drink included; Senior Discount Saturday all day, buy your own drink, Senior Discount Sunday about $1 drinks included only for breakfast. Handicapped parking with slopes on sidewalks to access restaurant. Handicapped accessible restrooms.

I went to the Golden Corral I dont understand what all the negativity is about. The staff are great, it was clean and the food was very good last week 11-9-11. The steak was med rare, like I asked, Juicy and was very good, didnt even pepper it or salt it. The baked potato was meaty and done perfect. The fried chicken breast, while admittadly, was better than normal, was excellent and juicy. The chocolate fountain, while fun for the kids, was tastless, go with the hot fudge(when its working) it wasnt that day, but a supervisor got the broken dispenser and squeezed personnly out the hot fudge for me and it was very good, very comparable to Dennys hot fudge. The Salsbury steak was good as well, normally Im not that fond of Salsbury steak. I always like the chicken soup and almost always like the Chily, both were on top of the game last week. Its a great place to go if youre on the Atkins diet too, all the meats are good and flavorful, the fried chicken is usually dry, but I kinda like it that way. Only main issues are many of the time the ice cream topping dispensers are not working. All in all was very good experience last week, we will be going today as well for armed forces day. They did an above normal "Happy BD" for my father-in-law as it was his 79th.

Celiacs - While I cant recommend Golden Corral for celiac disease, I can assure the celiac that, at least at this location, Ed Tagert will do his best, right down to personally cooking your food special, to make sure you have a safe and tasty meal. Ed made me feel like a celebrity. He took the time to research nearly every item on the buffet. Some of the less obvious dishes for the celiac to avoid are the steak, turkey(if you avoid lactose but no wheat), frenchfries(because of cross contamination from the fryer). In fact there is little we celiacs can eat at Golden Corral. Stay away from the taco table. Some of the things we can eat are; Ed cooked me a Salisbury steak on a fresh grill (minus the gravy - thanks Ed), plain vegetables (naturally), rice, baked potato and the cold shrimp from the salad bar. The mushrooms were safe according to the ingredient list. It was a good meal once we sorted out what I could/couldnt eat. My wife has always liked Golden Corral, and now I can take her knowing I can eat safely. Ask for Ed - Hell treat you right.

Came here 2 months ago, and it was awesome. Came here today and it was so very disappointing. Instead of fluffy French toast I got a hard dry imitation French toast... or it tasted like cardboard. The sausages were still pink inside and the hash browns were dropping with grease and had an old oil taste. The chicken fried steak tasted way different than last time. Again dry and tough. Something changed in the last couple of month. Also the restaurant has an old oil odor. I ordered an omelette to sew if it would better. Nope, it was soggy with grease as well. Im guessing the oil has changed or old oil is being used. Then the steaks... well I walked by them when they were being put on and they were already brownish color before being put on the grill. I didnt even try it. The watermelon displayed also looked dry. The staff seemed different as well. Not chirpy, very grumpy. I cant remember if we came on a Sat last time... maybe Saturday and Sundays staff are different, including the cooks. I was so disappointed.
