Been here a few times. No longer happy with Village Inn. First of all, breakfast. It used to be that you could get a couple of eggs, toast, bacon, and maybe hashbrowns for about 4 bucks. Now, in an effort to increase their bottom line, the special is "Any Four Breakfast Items for $6.99." Didnt know that when I told the waitress that I wanted eggs, toast, etc., and felt totally ripped off with the bill. Its just eggs!!! Second, last lent, we were at VI on a Friday, I ordered the fish dinner, what I got were three greasy little fish triangles, overcooked and hard. Yuck. Ok, so, now, half a year later, Im at VI with my family, and I ask the very nice waitress about the fish, and if theyre the same quality of fish, and she says they are flaky and tasty cod filets. NOPE, greasy overcooked fish triangles. And the french fries are covered with pepper. Yuk. My husbands and brother-in-laws double cheeseburgers were horrible. In an effort to save money, the all beef hamburgers are no longer ALL BEEF. They are the kind of hamburgers where you fill a bowl of beef up with onions, bread crumbs, green peppers, eggs, etc., and make some type of burger that takes crunchy and weird. Both guys were full and didnt finish their meals. And lastly, the very nice waitress asked us at least two dozen times if we wanted pie, to save room for pie, if we wanted to take pie home, to come back for free pie day, why we didnt want pie. Annoying. I will never eat at Village Inn ever again.

Horrible Service! Stood at the cash register for more than 5 minutes while several employees walked right past me without a single glance my direction or even a "someone will be with you in a minute...". Once someone finally came to the register I ordered a pie, paid for it and the girl just looked at me. I asked "Can I have my pie?" and she told me to step aside and she would take care of the customer behind me and then get it for me. I told her no, Ive paid for it and I have been standing here longer than they have please give me what Ive paid for so I can go. I was then given the "look" like she wanted to tell me where to go. Sarcastically I told her "Great Service, Ill be back again soon!" Um, hell no I wont! Every time I come to this location the service is painfully slow, and it takes you 10 minutes to pay your bill because there isnt usually anyone at the register. Ill drive to the Signal Butte location where the service is stellar and everyone smiles.

SAVE YOUR MONEY The staff looked rushed and short handed, it took an hour to get a hamburger with fries. I was very hungry and after a few bites of my burger I noticed it was not what I had ordered. I called the server to my table who said she could remake it. I did not want to wait another hour so I asked to speak to the manager. The manager told me he could remake the burger or write off the charge on the ticket. I told him to take off the charge on the ticket but that wasn’t all he took. He took my dinner too. So I was left with a diet coke to satisfy my hunger. No place I have ever been treats their customers this way. I go to a restaurant to eat, not leave hungry. I am very upset, I had to leave and go eat somewhere else after wasting an hour of my time with nothing to eat. I will never eat here again.

Ladies were great service from them but that Mexican manager was very mean and degrading the waitresss. Uncalled for. If it wasnt that I was a guest of who took me there in the evening of October 19 2016 at approximately 8p.m. I would just told him off but he is not manager material. I would fire him like now! People like him is why you have law suit for making a hostile environment. That is a crime. You could see the stress in the waitresss faces. I am serous that I just wanted to pop him back to Mexico. I am American Indian. This is Not a race thing. This guy I thought his name is Donald. Might be wrong but look at my time as a guest. We left about 9:40p.m. Look at the video I have on a sleeveless gray shirt and green pants and a Black Beret. Elias Nollola Sr. My friend is a white woman.

They dont even deserve 1 star. This place is absolutely horrible. They treat their emoyees like absolute crap & they let their other employees bully new hires & then fire them for it. Last time I checked, you shouldnt have to be bullied & harassed while working by another employee & letting that employee get physical with you either. I will be reporting this specific village inn to corporate for allowing the manager, Mike & the night cook, Lloyd to bully & harass their employees while working. They didnt even try to settle the situation, they immediately fired my brother. Dont eat at this place, they have terrible morals.

Our service was great until our food arived...I had ordered a mushroom swiss burger...well let me tell you....the cheese was so melted it didnt exist anymore and the mushrooms. ..5 ...only 5 little pieces. .yes I did count...what makes it more grand of a place the manager argued with me about the cheese and mushrooms and went about touching my food....if Im paying 10 bucks for what I ordered ...give me what I ordered. ..dont argue with the customer. .... I ended up going to Texas road house...got to tell you cheep er than village inn and you get lots of cheese and mushrooms when you order their burger

I ordered the Ultimate mac and cheese dinner. The few pieces of pasta under the overdone chicken were a wee bit creamy. Otherwise, the meal was bone dry! I asked for some creamy cheese sauce to moisten it. They said they have none. Is this a restaurant? They cant whip up something as simple as that?!? They offered for me to reorder. My husband was already enjoying his meal. I just picked at mine and packed it, Ill make a sauce for it for lunch tomorrow I guess. Very sad. We hope to never go there again!

Went today with family. Was not busy at all. Asked for a table. Was told to wait which is fine but not how long. After going to the restroom and noticing there were several tables open i asked to speak with a manager. Didnt get to talk to one and the hostess said they didnt have a server in that section and shed have one of the other tables cleaned off that was empty when we arrived but had dishes on it. We left. If youre not busy and tables open and not cleaned, at least give a time frame. Wont be going back.

I guess Village Inns are a chain. It was a normal decent coffee shop. Typical decor, great pies, and decent food. You can have a juicy high calorie or a more healthy turkey avocado sandwich. All were good filling food but nothing spectacular or innovative. Just normal decent food at a reasonable price. But save room for the pies. Besides it appears eating options are small in Apache Junction. Someone ought to do a review on Apache Junction! That would be very interesting!!! :-)
