My wife and I had a terrific lunch there. We had chicken and dumplings, great vegetables, and delicious cornbread. The dumplings were as good as my grandmother used to make, and the sides were all fresh and delicious. Real mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables are getting hard to find at restaurants. The meal was delicious, and we wanted dessert. I had the coconut pie, and my wife had the chocolate pie. We were amazed by the best pie I have had in years. The crust is fluffy, flaky and buttery. I had forgotten what real pie tasted like! The price was a little over $22 (not counting tip) for two people to have the meat and three and pie made by angels. I would have paid more for this terrific, Southern, comfort food. Everyone that works there was really nice, too. Did I mention the pie???!!! It was still warm! Many restaurants are just serving you frozen or fast food. Why not have a real meal at Must Stop Cafe. It will make your day.

SO GLAD this is my parents favorite restaurant.. Fresh Everything. Good meats, a zillion FRESH veggies, never mushy (except the giant limas, but that cant be helped. :) And the service - they remember you and love you. From people whove never been there before to folks who come at the same time every day, all kinds of people. <3 <3

I work next door and I eat lunch there quite often. The fried chicken and Chicken fried steak are absolutely delicious. The prices are great and the people are so nice. I love having good southern cooking right next door!!

Recommended by Granddaughter while visiting and we were NOT disappointed! Wonderful home cooked style meals, fresh vegetables, real potatoes and AMAZING peach cobbler! Will eat here on every visit!

Best place in Wetumpka for a "meat and 3" dish. Recommend the country fried steak. Avoid the "buttermilk pie" unless your roots are truly southern. Largest crowds are Sunday 11:00 after Church.

A favorite haunt of our community. Basic, Traditional Southern comfort foods done well. Food is lightly salted; adding more is up to you. We enjoy eating here often. .

Great coconut pie! Love the fact that there is a smaller meat portion available. Iced tea comes in a jumbo size cup, wonderful on a hot day.
