We just moved to the area and based on the reviews, thought wed give it a try. The food was pricey, but ok (what was edible), but the service was horrible. Our waitress brought our food and left, not to return until our meal was over. We attempted to flag down the other waitress without luck. I ordered my steak medium well and it came medium rare at best. The potato was not even warm (wouldnt melt the butter) when it came to the table. The Scampi was ok, but rice was bland. I have to say the best part of the meal was the side salad for 73.00.

Wont find anything comparable at any chain restaurants. Seafood is always fresh and the daily/weekly specials are allways awesome. This is a seafood and steak restaurant dont order chicken or salad and expect anything special dont order your steak well done or it will be and you will complain about your burnt steak being tough but hey thats what you ordered. Crab cakes, shrimp and grits, eggplant and shrimp pasta, any of the steaks or stuffed fish you cant go wrong.

Absolutely my favorite River Region restaurant. The food is great and the atmosphere is great. Try and get a seat in the loft area above the main floor for the best atmosphere. My wife loves the crab cakes. I prefer the Eggplant Delacroix. Steaks here are also excellent. Average entree price is around $20-$25. No kids menu, but you can order the chicken tender appetizer and add french fries for around $10.

Food is always good, but service leaves a slot to be desired. Last time we were there,I ordered a Salty Dog and our waitress ask what it was. I told her it was salt on the rim with grapefruit juice and vodka. She brought me a glass full to the brim of straight vodka and then disappeared until she brought us our order.

Ambiance 100.... beautiful historic building.... Food 80....Shrimp Diane: fresh shrimp, delicious alfredo sauce... Crab Cakes: overly greasy, little lump crab, overly breaded.... Service: Disappointing... Inattentive and impersonal.... sadly, wouldnt recommend....

Very nice experience. Food taste and quality was great. We are definately going back again! The only thing i have as far as improvement is its location. Its tricky to find at night although it was worth it in the end!!

Just celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary at Our Place and had a wonderful dinner. The Eggplant Delacroix was superb, as was the Ribeye Steak. Excellent service and ambience. Couldnt have been better!

Recommend crab cakes. Best intimate restaurant in Wetumpka. Great for dates or special occasions. Can be hard for non-locals to find. Keep looking. Two can dine for $55.
