Have been going to Ginza for over 13 years and have always had a great experience with both the food and the chef. Yesterday I was totally disappointed with both. We had Steak & Lobster and Chicken & Shrimp. For the salad they put way too much dressing on them. Soup was good and hot though. For the main course, the chef didnt even try to put on a show at all. ZERO showmanship. The lobster was either bad or freezer burned as it tasted nasty and we didnt eat it. The shrimp was chewy and tough. The chicken and steak though were good. Tasted a neighbors Playboy Roll and it was good. Food wise Id have to say it was definitely was below par. Staff was good with the exception of the chef. Like I said, he didnt even try to put on a show for us. He talked but that was the extent of his performance. Im sure for a Monday night you dont get the best chefs and I understand that. But to not even try is a whole other issue. So for the lack of a show and the bad seafood I have to rate this visit as a 1 star. I was totally disappointed and embarrassed I brought my date there especially after bragging how good it has always been.

Ive been eating at Ginza for years just about 4+ times a month literally my favorite restaurant until recently. The food is normally good, prices, are good staff are normally friendly. Ive had a few experiences where the food hasnt been as satisfying but however for the past 3 months the customer service here has been terrible. From them not answering the phone for call in orders and their excuse is theyre too busy regardless as a business and as a customer everyone should get the same opportunity no matter how busy you are. The past couple of times ive had to drive all the way here just to order or havent been able to order due to various reasons. Its very dissatisfying especially seeing that this use to be my favorite restaurant.

Ginza is hands down the best sushi restaurant in Indianapolis. Perhaps better than most sushi restaurants Ive experienced throughout the midwest. Quality, quantity, service and price keep myself and others coming back. The hibachi grill rivals any other Japanese steakhouses hibachi grill but I order sushi 100% of the time. The only drawback is the location. The surrounding area is crime ridden but I have never felt as if my family, friends and I were ever in danger while at Ginza. I believe the location sways most people from not trying Ginza for the first time, which is sad because you would never want to go to another Japanese Steakhouse after experiencing Ginza.

I loooove Ginza. I moved to colorado about 6 months ago and my mouths been watering for good hibachi ever since. I will be back this weekend, and ginza is going to be one of our first stops (after seeing the family). My favorite is the speedway, which is a huge portion of ribeye; but when funds are tight the ginger chciekn or teriyaki steak is a great choice as well. I dont eat veggies or shrimp..so my husband gets my appetizers and i always get am extra rice (or 3...) and eat the leftovers for days.

WORST PLACE !!!!!! I HAVE GONE HERE FOR YEARS AND TAKEN MY FAMILY TO EAT AND TONIGHT WAS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE. NOT ONLY DID THEY OVER CHARGE US FOR OUR CARRY OUR ORDER, BUT THEY REFUSED TO GIVE US OUR ORDER AFTER THEY SWIPED THE CARD AND REFUSED TO REFUND US OUR ORDER. THAN WHEN WE GOT UPSET THEY CALLED THE COPS BECAUSE THEY SAID THAT WE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN MAD!! SO PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!

I love Japanese food and this was by far the worst experience. I ordered filet and chicken. Their food lacks flavor and the filet was old and had a horrible taste to it. I asked for extra vegetables since Im allergic to Seafood comma and they charged me for extra vegetables even though I didnt get the appetizer part of my meal. Overall I will never go to this place again and would not recommend it to anybody.

There was no hibachi show whatsoever! He was boring and quiet. I ordered steak hibachi. I got my steak before the app. The edamame was horribly overcooked, the fried rice was flavorless, the steak was teriyaki which I didnt order and totally overdone, besides the fact that there was half the steak as fat! All in all the worst hibachi I have ever encountered!!

This restaurant has gone down hill. The play boy shrimp roll was my favorite, but the last few times I couldnt eat it because it had the black poop inside it. Also, the service is rediculously slow. The restaurant is also no longer clean. Hopefully theyll fix these issues.

This restaurant left much to be desired, and the only reason it gets one star is because I cant give zero. If you like to eat in a restaurant that is just as clean as the food, dont go to Ginza! Taste is not that bad, but it doesnt make up for the lack of cleanliness.

Japanese hibachi is supposed to be an experience where the chef dazzles us with those great-tired old dad jokes (egg-drop, butter-fly etc) and FIRE! But not here. We watched a guy cook our food, not cook and entertain. Also, the place is rather dirty.

The hibachi fish (tilapia) was magnificent. Ive never had hibachi grill and fish together. It was tender and the outside was caramelized with a bit of buttery sauce. Absolutely delicious. Incredibly friendly staff. I always have a good time here. <3

Went in a half hour before to get sushi to go and they said they cleaned up already and cant make any. Why stay open until a certain time if you cant serve customers a half hour before close. Place is a home and looks dirty anyways.

Sashimi Deluxe was paper thin. For a $20 plate, I expected a more reasonable portion. The manager was laghing when I Asked for "fried ice cream" for dessert. He said the ice crean would melt. What?!
