This was my first time to try out this restaurant. While waiting for my food, I had a very nice chat with the owner. They just opened for like a month ago and moved from San Francisco. The owner came from Hong Kong and they spent a very long time in Japan to learn the dishes from one of the master Japanese chef. Fantastic food and the Ramen broth is amazing. I couldnt describe it to you, you have got to try it. Of all the Japanese restaurants Ive tried Musashi and Yume is the closest authentic Japanese food you can taste. The sesame ice cream dessert is not sweat at all and so darn good. Next time I go back to Yume, Im going to order different dishes since I have not try every one of them yet. Have you guys try the futo buta ramen house restaurant? their broth is so salty and the egg is cold, they put a lot of oils in the broth. I highly recommend Yume Restaurant!!! I will be back for more with hunger :)

For those that value their time. We let the mod (owners wife) know that we didnt have long to wait for a grill table, she offered us drinks as we waited, as if gratis for making us wait. We entered at 715pm and didnt get seated until 735pm but we didnt receive food (the salad) until 825pm. I made it known prior to being served and privately that the wait was extraordinary and she may want to consider some type of comp. at 905pm the chef had finished with cooking. Both the chef and waitress commented on how long we had to wait, yet we were charged for everything. The food was decent and the portions were average but the wait and lack of managements concern for customer satisfaction give it a 2....and a non-return.

This was my first time here. I am comparing this to my favorite Japanese steak house, Kani House. Our server was good 9/10 for her she was slow on drinks. Great on everything else. Our chef was nice and somewhat entertaining. I think he should have been WAY more interactive because there were children at the table. I wouldnt say the food was the best I have ever had but it was good. They only offer ginger dressing for the salad. Which is fine with me, but other options would have been nice for the kids. We were seated quickly and we got a good amount of food for the price point. Overall it was good, but I wouldnt go out of my way to go back. :)

This place is one of my favorites! I normally order the Hibachi chicken to go when Im at work. The only negative to this is on the menu it says you get a clear soup and a salad but to go orders only get the salad when we use to get the soup as well. You are still paying for the soup but not getting it. They need to change this. Also multiple people have had their debit/credit cards double chartered here and they dont want to give you their money back and want to give you the run around. The food is wonderful but they way they do business and pricing is shady so please be careful. Use cash only.

I ordered carry out. Over the phone, the person taking the order could not make a recommendation because shed never had most of the food. I get the feeling that this place will hire "better English speaking" front of house and servers and therefore have people not very experienced with this type of cuisine sell it for them. Unfortunate. When I showed up to pick my my order. She couldnt remember what I ordered so she hadnt put it in. Probably because she didnt know the name of the food item on the menu. Im throwing a lot of shade, but Im hoping this place will pay attention.

Experience was terrible. Waiter was inexperienced and had no idea what was being served. We asked for Thai food with a spice rating of 4. Their idea of spice was sliced peppers. We had to sit at the hibachi and the cook cleaned while we were sitting there, Then another worker came and cleaned again with all the vinegar steam coming straight towards us. When we complained to the manager her gave the attitude of he could care less. Anyone eating here beware.

We had the best experience! Our chef was Tony and he was awesome! The hibachi was perfect and seasoned just right! The sushi was amazing as well! Alabama roll add cream cheese was AMAZING ! Great service! Our waitress stayed on top of everything! My son got sick as we were sitting there and Tony got him a cup of water and was just so sweet! We will definitely be returning ! Aside from my son getting sick it was all around AMAZING

Yume has the best Asian food in the Oxford/Anniston area. Sushi is exceptional -- fresh, creative, delicious, and presented beautifully. Service is attentive, prices are reasonable, and the decor is upscale. Other than sushi, my favorites are the hibachi options (which I often order from the regular dining room), while my husband usually orders Thai dishes. We eat here often and have never had a meal that wasnt exceptional.

The food is great but however whoever is managing the place doesnt know what they are doing. Today, we went in and asked for dine in and was told there was a wait. I looked and they only had the small dine in area open. They had 2 other areas for dine in and neither was opened. They could have easily opened them up and seat more. After hearing the wait time we left and went across the street where there was no wait.

I was seated right away, and sat at a small table near the sushi bar. Service from Fancy (yes that was her name) was excellent. Ordered my goto order - Charashi, that I usually get at someplace new to me, to see how well they make it. Beautifully presented, with a great selection of sashimi. The restaurant was clean, with a good atmosphere. Definitely will return next time through Oxford.

I loved this restaurant would good just about every time I went to Anniston.. I called in an order one day and my rice tasted different, like it was spoiled.. I called to complain and the manager told me since it took to long to let them know, they was only replacing my rice.. not if Im bring all the food back... But its cool I will not eat there again ... Thats the 2nd time bad business..

Literally, just left (Tues. 10 Jan. 2017 @ 2:10 pm). There was no wait for the hibachi, even for just 2 ppl. Ask for Pete, he was awesome. I ordered a side of Lo Mein but they werent Lo Mein noodles. Didnt try drinks because we are traveling. Shrimp crunch and Hawaiian rolls were completely satisfying. All in all, great experience and great food. P.S. Clean restrooms always a plus

I decided to try this new Japanese, Thai, and Sushi bar for take out and was surprised at how good the sushi was. I hate to say it is not as good as Fuji-which is right across the street- but I was indeed pleasantly surprised. The staff was pretty nice and the atmosphere was quite beautiful when I walked in for a brief few minutes. I would eat here again for sure.
