How in blue hell is this rated as highly as it is?! I was extremely skeptical of the ratings here given the touristy area and the lack of raves from serious pizza lovers. So skeptical that I didnt check this place out until nearly 2 years of working 5 blocks away. One day I finally relented and grabbed a slice to go. Sadly the slice only made it ~3 blocks before I tossed it. The cheese was old from sitting out from what seemed to be that morning, and oozed oil as a result. The crust was crisp but that was really its only redeeming quality; just not much rise on the end crust, char, or bready flavor to it otherwise. The sauce rounded this combo out as it was overly sweet, overly herbed, and had a terrible tomato paste-like aftertaste. Ratings aside Im not that picky when it comes to eating pizza--especially if Im hungry, its lunch time, and I paid $3 for it--but I could not eat this. Try Sacco and Siena nearby for good example of the NY slice.

I have eaten all over NYC in the quest for amazing pizza. This place rocks it out. There are no tables, just four chairs, a counter, and a trash can. I got there in the downpour of snow to the oasis of a slice of lasagna pizza and garlic, basil and tomato. It was heaven on Earth and quite honestly, it may have been some of the best pizza I have ever laid my taste buds on. I have searched high and low for the best pizza in America and especially in NYC. This was a hole in the wall right across from the theater where Hamilton was playing with a line down the street. I am glad they were all in line at Hamilton because I was gobbling up all the pizza at Patzeria Perfect Pizza.

This place has some of the biggest slices I have ever seen. I could only eat two slices and I am someone that can usually eat a large in no time. I got a tomato and basil slice and it was truly special. I loved the atmosphere of the place. It was quick and easy. The pizza came out in no time and I had such a great time eating. My friend got the soup of the day and she thought it was very good. The menu was very easy and it was simple to pick what I wanted. I like when a menu is right to the point. The flavor of the pizza was really amazing. It had a really spicy flavor to it and it felt like there was a lot of great seasoning on it. The people there were awesome too!

Nice pizza but garlic knots could be better. Good option if looking for something fast or a take away pizza slices. La pizza está buena aunque el pan de ajo he probado mejores. Buena opción si buscas algo rápido o un trozo de pizza para llevarte.

The pizza is decent, but there are better pizza places in the city. They do have a reasonable selection of large slices, but they dont toast them enough so it can be limp. If you like your pizza to retain its shape when you eat it, have them toast it longer. Also, the employees are not overly friendly or welcoming, in fact it they seem annoyed that they have to serve you in the first place. Finally, there is a very small counter in the restaurant and an even smaller one outside, other than that, youll want to grab and go.

Excellent pizza, this place is a must for me whenever I make it to NYC. Native New Yorkers will whine about the terrible restaurants in Times Square. Well, just walk one half block away and get some of the best pizza in NYC. Beware, there are only a few seats here so dont expect much of a dine-in experience. Instead, get your slices to go and walk over to Times Square and enjoy them on the tables or steps there under all the lights and excitement. Get the lasagna pizza, but bring a friend because one slice feeds two.

My wife and I have been here for five days on a food tour of the city and have tried all the big name pizza places and they were all good but I was amazed by Patzeria. I must admit I was skeptical when I entered this little hole in the wall but after my first bite the skepticism melted away as the flavor of a perfect sauce delicious cheese and high qaulity toppings set atop the most deliciously flavorful and crispy crust bathed my taste buds. Truly the best slices Ive ever eaten.

Hands Down, one of the top 2 pizzas Ive ever eaten! The pizza was amazing, great sauce, fresh ingredients, and fairly cheap for the area (around $4-$5/slice - slices are large). Note: there is only a very small amount of bar seating in the restaurant; you should plan on taking the pizza somewhere else to eat. @ batman: FYI - I dont know the NY state laws, but in some states, if an establishment doesnt card you (even if you are obviously over-age) they can be seriously fined...

Absolutely the most flavorful pizza weve ever tasted. Were from New Orleans and know about good food. We were about to trek across town to a well known pizza place, but were exhausted after a long day of sightseeing and theater. We couldnt have been more pleased. "Thank you" to the theater attendant who recommended it. There is only a small counter to sit and eat, but well worth any inconvenience! Cant wait to go back to NYC to visit this place again.

Im really quite shocked this place has such high reviews on here. Most definitely a tourist trap kind of pizza place. Everyone in our group found the pizza ridiculously greasy, not in a good way, and fairly tasteless. All of that for nearly $5/slice.. eh. If you walk one more block to the west there are about four more pizza places. I have eaten at one of them, which was far better, and the other three certainly couldnt be worse or more expensive.

Pizza was good (typical NY thin crust pizza on wax paper), but the place was mobbed right after all the Broadway shows let out - there were only a few slices left and hungry customers had to accept whatever was available. Kids liked the pepperoni and the lasangne pizza, but they staff wouldnt even let us order off the menu during the post-show rush. Avoid the cramped quarters and crazy lines after a show, but otherwise... Good! Take-out only!

This place was a let down in my opinion. A 4.4 star rating was definitely not fulfilled. There were at least 20 people crammed into a tiny shop which cant be helped, but makes it extremely disorganized and uncomfortable. The workers could not understand what I was saying, and I got the wrong kind of pizza that I wanted. And to top it all off, the pizza was mediocre. It was decent, but a let down to the expectations that it advertises.
