I placed an order through Grubhub at around 10:50 p.m. on Friday, with an estimated delivery of 11:40 p.m. I received a confirmation email, which means that the restaurant accepted the order. I waited until 12:30 before I tried to call the restaurant to see whats going on, but the restaurant was closed by that point. So I called Grubhub to complain and had to scramble to find something else to eat at that late hour. I had to call Grubhub 5 different times throughout the week because Fontanas had the audacity to challenge my request for a refund and actually claim that I received my food. I am beyond pissed off at them and will never order from them again, which is a shame because I genuinely enjoyed the food from there and was a good customer. However, I cant abide by them leaving me high and dry and then refusing to make things right.

Food was horrible. Will never ever ever ever eat here again. There are several pizzerias in bayonne. I read the reviews it had 5 stars so I decided to order and I truly wasted 29.36. Did not know pizza could taste and look so bad. I asked for thick crust and I received a thin pizza. Not only did it look nasty it tasted worse. I also ordered bake ziti with sausage. I must sausage thr sausage was good but the ziti was soooo dry and it had abt 3 layers of cheese on top. Also worst ziti ever. Chicken wings were good. Was a little weerie because of the shape of the chicken We werent 100% sure it was chicken that we were eating. One piece looked like a dogs paw. Im soo upset that the big apple closed down.

This restaurant has the most amazing food in bayonne. They are quick, efficient, and convenient becuase you can pick up, take out, or have your food delivered. Everything has been absolutely delicious! Ive had the shrimp scampi, the bacon cheeseburger, the flounder sandwhich, and the chicken fingers, just to name a few. And everything was outstanding! My go to place in bayonne, ill never order from anywhere else again!!

I have eaten a few different things here and its always been decent. Yet, this past time...between the food and bad service I was not pleased. Not to mention the way the bathroom looks. Im not one for public bathrooms anyway but that is disgusting its literally falling apart. Wont be going back anytime soon...

First let me say that the pizza was great, the chicken noodle soup and garlic knot the best Ive tasted in awhile. I wish they had truck parking, but the delivery was quick and the food was hot. The only reason I didnt give them 5stars is cause I havent tried the rest of the menu

If you want great tasting pizza, then you need to order from Fontana. I have eaten in dozens and dozens of pizzerias in NYC, NJ and other states across the country as I travel on business and they are #1 - the best I have ever had! Enjoy!

The people who work here are really friendly AND they deliver which is pretty rare in Bayonne so thats awesome. The pizza is amazing, we also had burgers from there a couple of times. And the pastas are very good. I just love this place.

I always order from them but this time, it was a really bad experience. To make this short, the food is always good to be honest, but delivery drivers are always suck, disrespectful, and really so bad at treating their customer.

I got the fontana special Pizza substituting beef pepperoni for the pork. It was a great pizza. Lots of cheese and just the right amount crunch in the crust. Loved it! Thanks
