I just came back from Hamilton deli, quite confused and angry. I ordered a burrito bowl and went to the 2nd cashier (the one in the corner) to pay for it, she charged me and I paid and that was that. I proceeded to wait for my food, and it was ready. The first cashier, yelled burrito bowl and I said yes thats me, she placed it down on the counter and left it there for the 2nd cashier to come and get it and bag it up for me. The 2nd cashier finally comes and says to me YOU NEED TO PAY 75cents MORE!! I said why? She said we charge for the bowl, I said but I told you when I initially ordered that I had a burrito bowl, why not charge me all at once? She screamed at me and cut me off" WE CHARGE FOR THE BOWL", I said thats fine, but why not charge at once, why two separate transactions, what if I didnt have 75 cent cash on me, then what? Would I not get my food? She pretty much dismissed me! I have noticed these cashiers are so nasty and rude. If they dont want to serve customers, then leave, there are tons of people out there looking for jobs. No one owes you anything, you work in customer service so its part of your job to satisfy and please customers! ps. Who charges for a bowl, that is the most tackiest thing I have ever heard!!!!

The food is most of the time good, but they keep screwing up the order. They are nice and say they are sorry then I have to wait for another delivery person to come. But it happens all the time. If you order from them over the internet call them and confirm that they understand the order. I had to cancel my order for a full refund because they said it would take another hour to get the delivery person to come back to me again by that time I will be leaving my job. Now I have to find another place to get my food from thats not going to be screwed up.

Great food. The problem we have is that they do not display credit card $7 minimums charge restriction prominently. It is posted high above eye view and on side of a overhang. We did not know about the $7 minimum until after our food had been prepared and we were ready to pay! We only paid because we did not want to waste food, however any restrictions should be clearly displayed so the customer can make a fair decision on whether and how they want to patronize the store.

I like their fresh sandwiches, but bought a pre-prepared one today that I had to throw away. Im not usually picky and I hate to waste food, but the meat was old. It was the sciliano sandwich one. And as always,the males that work there creep and stare and make you feel uncomfortable. I never go to this place for that reason, but even walking by it sucks as they like to stare at your body as you walk by outside.

Three of the five times Ive been here, theyve gotten my order wrong. (This has usually involved putting regular cream cheese on a bagel when I ordered tofu cream cheese, which the menu listed, but which they apparently no longer stock consistently.) Its okay if you just need something quick or simple, but Ive given up on them for anything but the direst of bagel emergencies. Also, theyre always super crowded.

I used to go to Hamiltons nearly every weekend for a breakfast sandwich before going on to work, but Ive given up on the weekend service. They arent rude- theyre just too busy to get orders right, and Im tired of getting sandwiches I didnt order, at prices that vary all over the place for the 2-3 things I generally order. Maybe they need to hire another weekend person...?

Nice deli to go to, friendly staff, & once in a while a get a sandwich that doesnt taste good but what happened to their time change? Its usually open by 645am in the morning on Saturdays but it hasnt for the last month? ? They should always have A second person on hand to cook when the university has class&meets. Those lines are murder &end up late to work.

Cheap and tasty! Perfect combination for students. The grilled chicken sandwiches and fries are amazing. You also get a your 10th sandwich free which is fantastic. Its usually very crowded which is understandable because of its vicinity to campus but otherwise great stop for a quick meal!

Had a hard time finding this place, normally known as CrackDel for a reason(and unless I am missing something, there sandwiches make you keep coming back and for all I know, maybe they actually have crack inside it cause they are ADDICTING). So many choices, you have to try them all.

Overpriced and overcrowded. I pointed out a months-expired orange juice to one of the workers, and just gave the knowing smile/nod and walked away. However, this is the go-to spot for nearby students, so it does well. Good prices on some items, like coffee.

So overpriced for NO reason. Dont get screwed here. You can take the train two subway stops north or south and find cheaper sandwiches of better quality. Also, go elsewhere for beer. Six pack of cheap beer will run you $16-17. Avoid Hamilton if you can.

Fantastic Deli - my go-to lunch stop. Some of the best specialty sandwiches in the city (my fave is the balboa) and you get a free sandwich with every ten you buy. The service is fast and friendly and the prices are pretty good.

A tad expensive, but thats the area...and everything we have ever gotten here was amazing. Highly recommended thier sandwiches or the rare gem of finding Nounos Creamery Yogurts...yummmm!!

Great food, fast and friendly service, and delivery is extremely fast if you live in the area (estimated time is 50-60 minutes, usually takes 20). I really like the balboa on a roll.

Get the buffalo blue. By far the best sandwhich on the menu. They move people through fast which means sometimes orders get forgotten or messed up but its worth it.
