I had not been there since i was little and the guy with the mustache used to jokingly tease me and give me free cheese when my parents would get cold cuts. I would get my "Monster" (Muenster) cheese there that i loved. It was a great memory from childhood that i still cherish. I was in the area and swung in with my 5 year old girls, got cold cuts and went home to make subs. Cold cuts are high quality and sub-rolls fresh soft and tasty. Not to mention still the best Italian sub on the north shore. Got some Genoa Salami for one of my girls that loves salami and she went crazy for it. I am so glad this place is still around and seems not to have changed in 30 years. The guy with the mustache is still there and still cracking jokes with the customers. I have the feeling we will be back again soon for more salami.

When I was a kid, very long-ago. My Dad would stop here to get cold-cuts, Mortadell, salami, proverlone cheese, olives, and anything else. We got our bread up the street at Sun-Ray bakery. Today I am a food critic for a well known mag. I loved the food we got some much that when I am back in the area, I head for the Gloria and return to those thrilling days of yester-year. Thanks For all the memories. guys

Its the place to go if you want to put together a great authentic antipasto plate. They have all the meats and cheeses. The place does not look like much, but theyve got the goods.

Our family has been going to Glorias for more than thirty years !! Great cold cuts but try the steak & cheese calzone and pasta salad too.
