Took my wife for dinner at the Silver Palace tonight after reading reviews of this restaurant. We were seated in the rear area of the restaurant next to the emergency exit door, the area had a open rack with stacks of supply boxes with dim lighting. We at first thought No Big were hungry for some quality Chinese food, but soon after ordering our meal I could not stop focusing on the dim lighting, dirty air vents, distressed wall decor and being sat right next to their service area with hampers of dirty linen. To the people who give this restaurant 4-5 stars, its obvious that you have not experienced quality Chinese cuisine. We had not even sampled the food yet and I knew where this was going. The two people serving the tables seemed to be bickering, and after a short time later we were served appetizers (tasteful). The main meal was, how should I say, Disappointing !! This establishment falls short in areas of service, food, cleanliness, with aging distressed decor, etc. Not once were we asked how are food was, or if there was anything more that we wanted. I would not recommend this restaurant, drive to Hacienda Hts, or Rowland Hts. for Great Chinese food.

The food came out quick. The service can be a little better. When upon arrival we were greeted, the host wanted to put us in the table right in the front, i declined since the table right in the door practically. They had a booth all the way to the back which upset the hostess, since it seeed to be where the workers ate their food. When ordering i ordered the shrimp chow mein plate, with fried rice and an egg roll. The egg flower soup came out 1st which was very flavorful. Then followed right after the food. It looked great, when trying the chow mein it was a little dry, with to much soy sauce, the fried rice was good as well and the egg roll was good.

Best service ever, not to mention the food was wonderful. A group of us Ladies went to Lunch after Bible Class at the Silver Palace and had a wonderful Lunch. Two of the ladies in walkers and had no trouble, the waiter actually parked their walkers after seating them and returned them when ready to leave (great service). The food was fantastic and large portions for lunch, to go boxes for most of us. I had the pork chops and boy were they ever tender and tasty too. Every lunch looked wonderful, I can hardly wait to go again! A value for the price, under $10 for everyone with tip. Some menu items are cheaper! A great buy for the buck!

Ive been going to Silver Palance going on 3 Years. I first discovered it with my former girlfriend and we went there at least 2 times a month. Very affordable food for gourmet chinese food, environment is friendly. The wait staff is very friendly. I highly recommend the Shrim Chow Mein, the BBQ with broccoli the Tangerine Peel chicken. Free tea with your food, free fortune cookie and almond cookie when you leave.

This place is great! My boyfriend and I went together and its a great family style restaurant. We got the sizzling rice soup, chicken with curry sauce, and honey walnut shrimp. The food was great and the service was awesome! Our waiter was funny and friendly, and we plan on going again sometime.

Ive been looking for a good chinese food place that is affordable and good....tried this place out for the first time today and absolutely loved it!!!! Definitely recommend it if you are tired of the same tired panda express. The service is great/friendly....cant say ONE bad thing about it!

By far one of the best places to come get Chinese food. But their wonton soup is to die for. A very friendly staff waiters and waitresses are always ready and available to help you out I think its family oriented and its great for big groups.

This is absolutely my Mother-In-Laws favorite place. "If"she had a choice, she would literally go there everyday for their "hot & sour soup". The moo shu pork & pan fried noodles are really good too!
