So I get off the ferry from spending the day in San Fran, for my birthday, with my parents, and attempted to get a small bite to eat and grab a drink here.. I get to the door and the gentleman (I use the term loosely) at the door informs me that the rest rooms are for customers only when I say I need to use the restroom as I attempt to arrange a table for the three of us.. First of all, the building that houses the rest rooms is in the ferry building, where I bought tickets earlier in the day, so yes I already was a customer of the facility. How dare you. I was planning on meeting a coworker here this Tuesday for a drink.. Guess Im finding somewhere else to spend my money. Zero stars

Their choice in aromatic herbs for their lighter in color beers was a bit odd, but to each his own. I was looking for more easy-drinking beers. For food, I got the beer bratwurst that was steamed in their IPA, but I feel like they could get so much more flavor if they maybe braised it in said IPA, then pan-seared it to caramelize the juices. Overall, I wasnt too impressed, but Id go again if some friends decided thats where they wanna hang

Service is Awesome! Fast and Friendly. Been living here my whole life and finally got a chance to come here. The beers are good. I suggest trying the beer flights first before going for a full glass. The IPA is my favorite. The atmosphere of the place is great plus a great view of the waterfront depending on where you sit. Highly recommended this place and will be coming back.

Lost a star because they dont have a larger variety of hoppy beer. Pale ale, double ipa, a triple, etc. They hit all the basic categories of beer but havent seemed to venture outside and try other recipes. Their story is awesome and they have the best view of any brewery Ive been to. The names of their beers have a ship-related story behind them which is pretty nifty.

In my 6 months in Vallejo, I have now frequented this place countless times and am happy to report that it just keeps on getting better. The staff is always friendly, the beers are great, the views are to kill for, and there are no better alternatives in Vallejo or Benicia for that matter.

I have to give the MIB full credit for doing the perfect tap room and the best local beers. I fully recommend the Shipwrights Porter. Also the menu is simple and straightforward, the food is great for after work get togethers and casual parties
