Great new addition to Temescal. Warm atmosphere, super welcoming and hospitable staff, excellent cocktails and really solid food. On the food front, Ive had the burger, which was delicious. Also being from Maine, I was curious to see if the lobster roll was good and it was amazing. On cocktails, one of my favorite cocktails is the Vieux Carré, which I was hesitant about ordering since I didnt want to be that guy who asks for a somewhat-obscure cocktail that isnt on the menu. The bartender cheerily replied that he could make it, and it was delicious. They also made me one of the owners favorites, called the Fourth Regiment, which was like a sazerac with celery bitters, also not on the menu. I highly recommend Grange Hall! Welcome to the neighborhood.

Service and execution are 5 stars. The food is not to my taste. A manger specifically asked me if I had feedback (unsolicited) and then tried to explain that I didnt get the dish. I think the chef is trying to do too much. How about half the ingredients and attitude? Dont ask for feedback and tell me Im wrong. Either take the feedback or dont ask. The cocktails were horrible.

Service was polite but very slow, especially considering the ratio of staff to patrons. Drinks were delicious. All the dishes we tried were quite bland, except for one that was so overly salted that I had to send it back (I havent done that in years!). An overall bummer of a meal, but I would come back and have another cocktail at the bar.

awesome bar with great service and collection of fine bourbons. I heard the food is good too - which cant wait to try. the cocktails are among the best in East Bay and rivals to some of the better bars in S.F. - at considerably lower price. nice addition to Oakland. A must try.

Delish breakfast sandwhiches, plus french toast bites. Yummy Hot Toddys on a cold cold Sunday. Well stocked bar and creative cocktails. Relaxed vibe (not fancy but warm and pleasant). 5 seat bar plus a dozen tables. Watched the Raiders while having a late brunch.

Unfriendly environment for a family. No high chairs, and exceptionally rude management. We walked out before we received our food, and we love Oakland restaurants.
