My bestie had never been in to The Commons so we decided to have dinner there. The menu has changed since the last time I was here so I was really excited to try something new. We ordered the Uncommon Potato, Burrata, and the chicken tacos. The potato came out first and it was delicious! Its a baked potato with a spicy chipotle sauce. The burrata came with grilled bread and a yummy salsa verde. I think we were conservative with the cheese so we had to order more grilled bread for $1 more. I thought the tacos were good. I think theyre more of an Asian fusion. The chicken itself was flavorful, and went well with the hot sauce that was in the taco. The dish came with three tacos. We ordered the only desert on the menu which was grilled bread with a chocolate spread and a marshmallow cream. I dont even like marshmallows but I loved it in the dessert! And it wasnt heavy and overly sweet. I thought it was a unique dish. The staff were really friendly, especially the hostess who helped me out with my crutches. I think The Commons has got their groove and I look forward to dining here in the future.

Being a korean american, I had to try the taco plate with the gochujang sauce. The sauce is basically a spicy naengmyun sauce if you have had that before. It went well with the korean style chicken and the lettuce. I was pleaseantly surprised with the ambiance coming from the bay area and now residing at a place where the city felt dead as far as food options, nightlife but this place turned it around for me. The only reason why i did not give 5 stars is because of the acoustics inside. It is so loud that you cannot hear the person across from you or next to you because the music is loud and the ppl are screaming at each other trying to carry on a conversation. I would go back but maybe when it isnt so packed with ppl to really enjoy it

This place is great. I was in town for work so I went alone and was welcomed at the bar by James the bartender who introduced himself. Not many bartenders do that. They offer craft cocktails and I enjoyed watching a sazarac made with care....flame warmed orange peal. I ordered the Blue Bag burger which James suggested and it was ridiculous. House ground short rib....craft again. This place is true gastro pub.

This place is a needle in a hay stack. Fancy big city style restaurant in a small country city. Food was great. Loved it! Drinks were prime and the staff was quite hospitable. I enjoyed the family style table in the back as we got to chat with our neighbors and test out their food as well. All in all this is must.

This is a great social meeting place. Loved it! Great interior decor and setting. Joe, behind the counter was a wonderful host. He knows his beverage products very well. Their stock wine and beer selections are quite impressive. I will certainly be coming back again next time I am in Tracy. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tried The Commons for the first time during my visit to Tracy. Everything was great, and the staff was all very attentive. We had the blistered carrots, and the yogurt sauce was amazing! The uncommon potato and beef tacos were the perfect accompaniment. Ill definitely be back!

My go-to spot when out of towners come to visit. The menu is fairly small but the choices are always great. Good selection of shared plates and the food always tastes great. Service is usually great as well. Havent consistently had the best service with large groups though.

Lively environment coupled with well made drinks and custom entrees make the Commons a great destination. They have found a great balance between comfort and high end cuisine. Bring a little bit of curiosity and your appetite and enjoy!

Best place in Town!!! Everything is great, food and staff. Staff very knowledgeable of what drinks pair best with what you order to eat. Service is always great. Cant say enough good things about The Commons.

Food was really good. I went on a wednesday evening for dinner so it was quiet and enjoyable. Few outdoor seats, bar, friendly table service, good food, clean bathroom, small place, do recommend!
