The food is great 4* (I wouldnt say the best Chinese Ive had growing up in Asia), but the smoke coming from the casino players really takes away from an otherwise great experience. My brother loves the fish maw soup although my mom said she can taste a bit of the raw fishy smell so she didnt like it. It was decent I think. Some of their food are authentic and some are not so. I would come here if others want to come because the food is great, but I myself wouldnt take others here or come by myself as the smoke really bothers me, and if youre not comfortable in a casino environment like me then I wouldnt recommend it. You have to walk through the casino to go to the restroom, its smoky and loud, though its not too loud when youre in the corners of the restaurant. Also pricey for a Chinese resto but the restaurant is very nice---probably the nicest modernChinese resto Ive been to---so the price is not unjustified. But for Chinese food Ive been to cheaper ones that taste as good or even better. 4* for food, 2* for smoke

I like Thunder valley. But this place always has unskilled servers for the price they charge. Today was the worse. Came here with my wife and parents for Fathers Day. At $24 a plate you should hire skilled servers. Or at least Nice. Anna was our server. Quickly we noticed shes unhappy and made our experience very bad. Spoke to a manager and got her replaced. We couldnt deal with how rude she was and unhappy as a person. The rest of the servers seemed unhappy as well. The manager however was super nice and understandable. And of course the food is good thats why we come here. Hiring manager needs to look into this. Been around a lot of places. Own multiple companies and Im not being picky. But come on hire people that are happy not miserable.

Ordered broccoli chicken togo and we can barely taste any flavors, no salt. The lady at the register appears to be having a really bad day because she was not friendly. I didnt even use points to pay. Paid cash and tipped her for a togo order, she was still not happy. Appears she treats all customers with the same attitude. Too bad.

This is absolutely my most favorite place for Chinese food. Its consistent and delicious, I can use my players points to help pay the bill, and the calamari is superb (I compare other peoples calamari to this place).
