After a few days without my coffee, expresso, or tea fix...I had a fat craving for a cup! I took a small vacation and enjoyed a raspberry truffle expresso drink in LA. Unfortunately, I havent found THE place that provided my drink of choices around in SJ within reach and tickled my tastebuds. To my suprise, I FOUND IT! *happy dance* I was driving around SJ until I started itching for that caffeine...BADLY. Stumbled upon this place randomly. Heres the scoop! Do not be fooled with the surroundings. The location is around tech buildings and other companies. Of course, engineers and other working employees in the area need a cup of coffee or tea before heading to work. Smart idea! I must be in the right place. Mohogany chairs, marble top tables, a dining area to sip, converse about work, politics, news, etc. Cool lounge-y music, plasma TVs with the news, sports, or whatever youd like to watch and a fireplace. Im already feeling the vibe. Sure enough, I spot a small sign for FREE WIFI!! Ooo...I should add they have plenty of boardgames too. Free for anyone to use and play! Thats bonus points for me. Keeps me occupied! =) Cashier and baristas are kind and friendly asking what I wanted before I could place my order. Usually, during summer days, Id like iced tea or lemonade. During winter and fall, I like latte or expresso, unless coffee is needed with lack of sleep. Its winter, so I asked for a white mocha and an extra pump of raspberry flavor syrup. Cashier asks if Ive ever been to their place. Ummm...Im a FTC (First Time Customer)! His knowledge with their menu, he suggests I order their raspberry white truffle expresso. While waiting for my drink, he tells me they have a website that lists their special menu items thats not written on their chalkboard menu. He goes on to say, "Next time, order the pumpkin spice latte or if you like tea, mango passion green tea in the summer is a nice choice to cool down." Thanks guys! I kindly oblige and trust that its a tasteful drink. You know what....thank you!! Right away, I came to love this place. Too bad they close at 6pm and cant stay open late. =( Plus...theyre not open everyday such as big chain coffee shops, Sbux or Peets. That doesnt matter! =) I AM IN LOVE! If I am down in the dumps, need a pick me up when I feel completely restless and tired, or working that 8-5 job rotation...I will forever come here! Sorry Starbucks and Peets, these guys can make my drinks anytime! ;)

Dropped my car off to get it worked on, this coffee shop was less than a mile away. Cute, small, good drinks, good place to study, along with working wifi. They had a mixture of desk size, not many but enough. There are strips of outlets around so the chance of running out of outlets is small. Traffic was pretty busy throughout the day. Whether people are grabbing a sandwich or drink, it continued for awhile. What I enjoyed most about this coffee shop is the fact the music is blaring, enough to keep you less ADD. Aside from atmosphere, I ordered a cafe latte w/ pump of vanilla. Pretty smooth. I wish I wouldve gotten it iced since it was a pretty warm day. Price was pretty good, not too overpriced. Would come back to try these sandwiches people kept ordering!

The iced cold brew with coffee ice cubes is definitely their MVP. The cold brew tastes as if the grounds were happily bathing in the coffee for over 24 hours. The coffee ice cubes kept the coffee cool without "watering" it down. It had a really smooth and robust taste. And it kept me jittery for the entire day! Theres nothing better than affordable, delicious coffee that will keep one caffeinated all day!

Lovely interior, with couches, tables, bars, games and outlets galore + free wifi. Our server was very nice and my lunch croissant was good. Their tuxedo mocha was very good (just a bit too sweet for me). Ill definitely be back again. Shame they close by 630pm, so its not an evening cafe hangout place.

I thought this would be great based on other reviews.... but not so much. Its not really a classic coffee house with super fresh beans and beautiful espresso drinks. Its not bad but its not the killer small craft coffee place I prefer

Friendly service. Delicious mocha frappe made with dark chocolate... Just the way I like it. The blueberry scones are tasty as well. Great spot to sit and work while enjoying a caffeine recharge
