This is a fantastic little independent coffee shop, and a far cry from the pretentious, hipster shops that have cropped up in recent years. Theres a woman thats always there, I assume shes THE Elva, and she is fantastic. Warm and friendly, shes quick with the drinks and makes sure youre enjoying them. Ive had the Mexican mocha, both hot and blended, and it is amazing. Ive also purchased the dark roast whole beans for home use and those are also fantastic. And on the weekends, she serves menudo. Piping hot, with just the right amount of spice, and my favorite hang over cure. Be sure to get it on Saturday though, as she makes a batch for the weekend and it has been sold out before Sunday.

Love the warmth & friendliness of this independent coffee shop!! From Mexican Mocha to bullet proof coffee to red bull smoothies, Elvas does not disappoint. If your lucky, Elvas mom is in there making homemade delights. Fast wifi doesnt hurt either. El Jefe approved!

Although there seems to be new ownership, Elvas is a local treasure! I love this place and have been going since Elva worked there. I recommend the Red Bull smoothie and the snickerdoodle iced latte!
