This is a great coffee stand tucked away in the corner of San Pedro Square Market. The coffee here is excellent. Talented baristas who craft your coffee, not just mass brew. Expresso is pulled nearly perfect every time, lattes are balanced in flavour and always presented well. The selection of pour over coffee is small but changes up rather frequently. There is a good range of what you will see. There is selection of quality tea here as well. This is a quality shop, so expect to be here a bit longer waiting for drinks. There is free WiFi from the market. If your looking to get work done, come in the morning as it is usually a bit quieter. Around noon things start to pickup with bigger crowds and louder music flowing through the market. There is also outdoor seating which is nice as well. There is a small selection of pastries to go with your coffee. This is one of the finds of downtown SJ. Its definitely worth the try.

Love the atmosphere within San Pedro Market and love that theres some decent coffee (aka: hipster coffee) within this space. The fact that B2 serves Verve and Sightglass coffee is great. I have ventured here once and ordered a soy latte, which was just ok. Im sure their pour-overs are wonderful and this will be next on my list to try. Theres free wifi here, inside and outside, which is a plus. The tables, high bar seating, booths and outside seating offers something for everyone and makes for a great place to get a little work done. Overall, great place, decent coffee, just ok specialty drinks.

Best almond milk cappuccino/latte in SJ. They make their own almond milk, so nothing else comes even close. Premium quality comes at a premium cost, though, having recently jumped to $5.50 a cup... As for the venue, think of it as your standard hipster coffee joint, without an overly hipster vibe. The very minimalist, large open sitting area makes for a comfortable visit. You could easily plant yourself here with your laptop all day long if you wish. The folks working here are all very skilled and friendly. They also have another location further south downtown that recently opened.

I dont know how my review could possibly say anything new about this place. I come here as often as I can cuz its one of the 10 best coffee places Ive ever tried. EVA. All the little details just do it for me: from the perfectly rounded, smooth porcelain cups to the way the baristas lightly tap them on their saucers to even out the surface of the foam to the slight chocolatey hint of the coffee itself. Dare I say it? Just awesome, every time. :) My only gripe: no parking validation here (no longer)

I love Bellano on Stevens Creek and have been going there for years. I finally got around to visiting its baby sister store B2, and it is clearly amazing too. B2 is located in an old garage, which gives it a different ambiance than the original spot. There is lots more seating, which is the biggest difference. B2 serves up the same delicious chais, cappuccinos, and lattes as the first, and the baristas are just as great. B2 is also great for people-watching especially during lunch hour.

Good coffee in the almost painfully hip San Pedro Market. There is sometimes live music or you can watch sports at the bar across the open seating area from the coffee shop. For a quieter experience you may want to sit outside. This is in SJ downtown so street parking is a nightmare (metered, if you can find it) so Id recommend considering using the light rail or biking instead of driving if youre not already in walking distance for something else that was worth driving in.

This is a terrific coffee place. Cappuccinos are spot on, full of flavor and only the slightest touch of bitter if any at all. The baristas here are on point and do great work. Pastries are fresh and taste delicious. The menu is blessedly simple, no caramel chocolate half-caf mochachinomericanos here. Only excellent quality properly pulled espresso in expertly crafted beverages.

Love my morning ritual at B2. They, along with their sister venue Social Policy, have the best coffee in the South Bay. Staff are friendly and real. The space is easy and comfortable. A few of the pastries are one-of-a-kind, like the lemon ricotta cake, and very nice. The rest are known and well made. (Genuine, as oppossed to a Starbuxian pastry.) Thanks for making this place happen!

For being a hipster cafe I thought theyd have better coffee. But it was pretty typical of something you can get at Starbucks. Ill stick to Philz or Intelligentsia. Tons of tables and space to sit and study. Very few electrical outlets, I could only find 2 near a sitting area, and 1 outlet with no place to sit. Come early to snag one or wait for someone to leave.

Love this place! Open and airy. They have house made almond milk and it is silky milky heaven. I drank it by itself its that good. Pretty good wifi but few outlets. Theyre connected to San Pedro Square Market - an indoor food mall with locally owned ears like tacos, pizza, falafel, and even a bar. If youre lucky youre there on one of the nights with live music!

Come for the atmosphere and the market that houses it, stay for the great drinks, nice folks, and eclectic shopping and food/drink. B2 is a coffee bar persons coffee bar, this aint Starbucks. Seating is very limited on the weekends FYI; theyre not taken, they dont exist (inside) due to things like little art markets etc.

Always hard to find a good cappuccino. B2 Coffee provides just that, a good cappuccino. It is not too hot, burnt, sour or leaves a foul taste in your mouth on the back end. Open and airy can get noisy and very busy. Mostly shared large tables with some cushion seats. Definitely recommend!!

Every time I visit San Jose, I make a visit to this place. The coffee is great, the baristas are fun and skilled, but the other half of the atmosphere is the fact that its in a high ceiling-ed garage portion of San Pedro Square. This is a great place to study or read a book

Had the steak and eggs with country potatoes, a mimosa, and they brought me a big shot of tequila for my birthday. It was awesome. The mimosas are made with freshly squeezed orange juice. The steak was perfectly cooked and the potatoes were delicious with some yummy sauce.

Unexpectedly stumbled across some of the best coffee in San Jose! On a quaint little strip in downtown San Jose, B2 is the type of place you may want to spend all day. Collect your handcrafted beverage from the welcoming and outgoing staff. BYO laptop, book, diary...

Im a bit of a coffee snob and find this place above the big chain coffee places. My go to is an iced white chocolate mocha with an extra double shot. Great place to come get work done on any given day or to hang out. Great coffee and great atmosphere.

One of the best latte artists that I know work here. The espresso is good too... I tend to use the former as an indicator of how much care they put into the details of making an espresso drink, and so far the correlation seems to be quite good.

The baristas there really know how to make a good cup of coffee, which one can tell from the way they treated espresso (very delicate, along with a couple of seltzer water). Definitely a great afternoon boost!
