We have been here a few times and enjoyed the food. This past time was absolutely terrible. We had Teppanyaki at the griddle table and the chef was horrible. All the other tables were having fun, but this tall chef was in no mood to work. He did the bare minimum for entertainment, but the worst part was the fried rice. He squirted 1/2 large bottle of their soy sauce into it, which is LOADED with MSG. I thought I was going to die from thirst, my wife same result. Even the next day we both felt ill from the effects, and MSG normally doesnt bother me. While plating my entree, he dropped a piece of steak on the counter, but scooped it up and added it to my plate anyway. My green tea was cold, broth soup not even warm and watery. The best part was when they served the green tea ice cream , my wifes had so much freezer burn, I thought it was shredded coconut. We informed the server and he said it happens in the fridge.Thanks...I figured. Then they screwed-up or bill by $25 over. No apology. Wont be back.

Used to go here often. I eat sushi enough to know what it tastes like the next day after sitting in my fridge- hard rice, avocado slightly browning, etc. I ordered a roll that I always get from here and I could clearly tell that it was left over. Even the spicy mayo on top was hard and crusty- it has NEVER been like that when we have gotten that roll before. They even forgot a roll in that same order. When we called we only received compensation for the forgotten roll. Not the two days old rolls, they proceeded to tell us that its because its a baked roll, even though we have gotten that roll numerous times. Livid, and will not be returning.

This place is excellent. The wait staff is very nice and courteous. They setup is wonderful and put together very well. The hibachi grill is great and the chefs are very entertaining. You are get great value for you dollar. Dinners include two appetizers, entree, and dessert at a very reasonable rate. In addition to all of this the portions are quite large. I can eat plenty and I was more than full at the end of the meal. Ignore the fool who wrote the previous post he doesnt know what he is talking about. It here, you will be very happy with your choice.

Just had lunch here after looking for a sushi place near me. I had the nigiri sushi lunch with a California roll and was not impressed. The fish was not fresh as each had a distinct fishy flavor. The tuna and mackrel were served too cold and the texture suggested they had been frozen and recently thawed, I hit the same impression from the tuna in the California roll. The staff was polite and the restaurant was nice and clean. Based solely on the sushi, I wouldnt recommend theirs, but I didnt try any other dishes.

Horrible. Drinks are so poorly made, they should be embarrassed. What was even worse than the drinks was the service. These incompetent staff members charged my card twice for the one meal. Then when I called back in to fix this (which isnt a hard fix) they had no idea what to do to resolve it. So, after several days of waiting, they retracted the additional charge, and then charged a greater amount the day after. Horrible- Do not go here. If you make the mistake of trying this place- KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!

Im so disappointed in this restaurant. We went there with 5 of us total including a small child. And they dont accept any outside food even for children. We told them our 3 yr old is extremely picky so we had some nuggets for her and we even asked them and the manager wouldnt even allow it. So we walked out. Thats very rude I get it with adults but kids are the exception. They lost over $80 worth. I took my money and spent it at a restaurant they appreciates us.

Fantastic sushi! I was so happy I was able to find a quality sushi restaurant in the suburbs. The waitress was hilarious and very friendly, the rolls were massive and very fresh, and great atmosphere. The only problem is that I want it every day now :) The price is a little high but you truly get what you pay for. For two people and three rolls plus drinks it was $70 before tip. Not too bad but you will end up full by the end! I highly recommend this place.

I have been coming here for awhile and have never had a problem. Be warned, their service as slowly began to lack. Waited for an hour at the hibachi table just to order our food. Tried to talk to manager and she only gave our table a 10% discount. Highly disappointed. The actual servers work hard but whoever makes the schedule does a terrible job. Manager didnt even come over to accomadate us in anyway.

Used to be a nice place to go for the half off sushi. Today I went in for the first time in awhile, and realized they are not keeping up on the restaurant itself. The mens bathroom was gross, there were hand and fingerprint smudges all over the bar, and paint chipping off the walls. When you see neglected issues like that, you have to wonder how sanitary their food preparation is.

The overall food quality was not that great. The atmosphere was fine, the staff were friendly enough, and they did have takoyaki (deep fried octopus balls, not that generally available), which were pretty good. But the teriyaki and sushi were disappointing. Im probably spoiled by living in San Francisco, though the food at Woow in Frankfort was better.

Im a chef and I gotta say this place is good. Im used to going to house of Kobe and this place blows the doors off of it. The only thing I didnt like was the meat portions were smaller and they give you 2 starches, rice and noodles, but it was good though. Presentations were nice...almost a 5 star...i will take that 35 min ride back.

filet mignon is the way to go rare to med-rare ton of food and worth the price. Good for the unsure about crazy fish type very good would go back also their chicken fried rice is delish
