Hello. I was there this past Saturday. My family and I had just got off the road from traveling there for my brothers wedding. We were a few doors down at the Mens Wearhouse and decided to stop in and eat. I told the lady that I needed a table for 7. She told me that I would need reservations. I said "okay. Im not from here I didnt know this". She said well you can eat here but it will be a really long wait. I said well thats fine, we can wait. She looked at me so crazy like she was expecting me to just leave instaed of waiting. Mind you that at this time there were at least 10 tables available. So I ask could they push a few together since there was so many available. She said no. So then I said well we dont have to all sit together, we can be seated apart. Just to see what she would say. She looked at my crazy and still would not seat us. My family and I had already determined that she did not want us there. I am too a business owner. Myself and my husband. We have money to spend. I had 2 of my brothers with me which both have college educations as well as prominent military enlistment. Both airforce and army which will retire in 2 years. I had my parents and my 2 children. We then left because this lady was refusing us seating. While walking to the cars. Im assuming this was management, ran out to get us and take us in to be seated. When we got back in this lady was really upseat that he came out and brought us back in. She was rolling her eyes. She threw up her hands as to say "Im done". The only reason that we came back in is because we needed to check in to our hotel and get to wedding rehearsal and to show this lady that apparently she didnt run our show. This lady is a short, white lady with really short hair that was working in the front this past Saturday between the times of 12-3. She was very annoyed by our presence from the moment we walked in. But seated everyone else that walked in after us with no reservations and no problems

I am a huge fan of stir fray and have dine at many Stir Crazy locations. My favorite location is located in Schaumburg IL and have dined at least 3-4 times a year since I was 18. I heard that they made a few updates to their menu and decided to give it a try. The Oakbrook location has a small patio area which isnt all that impressive as it consists of roughly 4 tables with tiny umbrellas and a view of the Sears Parking Lot. The restaurant was clean and our waiter was extremely friendly which is why I was able to give it the 2 stars instead of less. For starters we ordered the Poo Poo Platter. Our chicken dumplings were very chewy and definitely failed to provide a fresh appearance. The "new" BBQ Ribs are extremely sweet and and were again cold. Regarding flavor the ribs are not worth it at all. The chicken wings were solid and offered a sweet tangy taste with a slightly spicy kickback. My wife is a huge fan of the egg rolls and I must say these were the worse Stir Crazy Egg Rolls we have ever had in the last 10 years. The egg rolls seemed very doughy and under-filled, there was 1 carrot slice in each of our egg roll and failed to live up to its expectations. The waiter was kind enough to bring us a desert on the house in celebration of my birthday which was great and special. The desert was probably the part of the meal with cinnamon wontons stuffed with banana and topped off with caramel and vanilla ice-cream. I should have just came in for the desert! I hope to be back to another Stir Crazy in the future but may never dine at this location again! Food quality was a downgrade compared to other chicagoland locations.

It was absolutely horrible. It started off with a ditsy waitress. Which is "whatever" to me most of the time. We were given dirty plates to start with. In fact the waitress caught one and said shed be back with another one. Well when I looked at my plate it was dirty too. I got an attitude when she brought the plate and said this one too, sorry. Ok fine. I ordered a drink and it came in a dirty glass, so dirty it stuck to the table!! "Take it back, dont bring another one." That should of been the cue to leave. Our appetizers come, we got the spring rolls and the chicken rolls. They were really good. So I dont feel bad having to only give 1 star instead of none. Dinner comes. Pad Thai was not great, at all, not even close to traditional like the menu says. The shrimp fried rice was just rice. The shrimp were so small and cut in four pieces. My parents were not happy. My sister had the tofu teriyaki and was not impressed. Overall I would say that this was the biggest waste of money and we will not be going back.

Ive been to Stir Crazy many times and loved it, but after my last visit on Saturday, I dont know if Ill ever return again. I got the market bar stir fry. The vegetable containers were all nearly empty and the vegetables looked bad like they had been sitting out for the entire day (or longer!). When I got my food, there were only a couple pieces of chicken in it, a much smaller portion than in the past. I had to spit out one bite because one of my vegetables was definitely spoiled. The food also had a horrible taste (a lighter fluid kind of taste, which I believe is from having the temperature too high when they cook on the wok). My husband got the Pad Thai which was very watery and didnt have any flavor. We were told they have new ownership, which has seemed to ruin this restaurant.

Came in with the family and was happy to see they had a kids menu with traditional items. The little guy got to have grilled cheese and our 8 yo got to experience the make your own stir fry at a kids price. Keto / Low carb perspective - No nutrition info is available. Some guidance in areas like the sauces for the make your own stirfry but no actual numbers to be found. I ended up going with the Japanese steak as a safe bet. The veggie sides tasted sweet so I avoided the rest. My wife stuck with the low calories sauces for the stir fry assuming IF they were all carbs, it would be a low amount anyway. Food tasted great and the kids loved watching the cooks. I only ask they offer a nutrition facts sheet.

I find that I only write reviews that are very good or bad. This is a bad one. There were open tables we were seated and we had to wait about ten minutes for our server to finally come to the table. we ordered our drinks and meals at the same time because we didnt know when we would see her again. The food came out fairly quickly. My meal was very good and if we return to this location I would order it again. My wifes meal was not very good and she declined to take the remainder home. When we were finished we waited for 15 minutes before finally getting the hostess to find our server to bring us a box for the leftovers of my meal and the check. We may or may not return to this location again.
