Made the mistake of trying a new place for breakfast today. Typically go to Jam and Jelly on Lemont in Darien where the food and service are always great. The food at this place was so awful and overpriced. Truly felt ripped off. We complained about one of our dishes which was not even half eaten because of the horrible quality, a manager was no where in site and they left there server that was on Day 1 to deal with us. Ended up having to pay for half of the disappointing dish rather than having it be taken off the bill. Rather than coming over and trying to compensate for our bad experience and save new customers, the manager decided to hide and not deal with it and lose our business. You can make yourself a better and less expensive breakfast at home. Dont bother with this lousy "restaurant". Doesnt even deserve the 1 star I had to give it to write this review.

Went to the Willowbrook location. Meals are pricey for the kind of food. Our waitress was rude at some points and not likeable. The worst thing was that we ordered 2 bacon omelets and had a coupon(buy one get one free of equal or lesser value) and since they were the same, one of them should have been free. The MANAGER rang us up and didnt want to give us the second omelet free. She would only give us the least expensive breakfast item free (which was an item $3 less than the omelet). Not to mention they charged for a different omelet(not a bacon one). The MANAGER ARGUED with us and said that the coupon said EQUAL or LESSER, so she had to take the lesser one off the bill. We finally gave up and paid. WE ARE NEVER GOING BACK THERE EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I inquired of the waitress what "Jimmy Potatoes" were to make sure they did not contain green peppers. She explained that they did not and asked if I was allergic, I replied I was. I ordered a meat and cheese omelet. A third of the way into my omelet I discover a large piece of green pepper perfectly centered in the omelet. I stop eating and inform the waitress. She takes the plate and comes back to inform me that I can have some doughnuts for my trouble. It is not as if something normally in the item I had ordered was to be left out... this was an unmodified menu item in which a large piece of an allergen the staff had been alerted to had magically appeared. Thanks but no thanks, I wont be back!

So disappointed in this place. Food was just average at best. Service was not good. Server forgot to bring my husbands soup and his salad dressing, forgot the syrup for the pancakes, and when asking for these things she just said, "Oh, ok". No apologies, no sense of urgency in getting them. Also, my skillet had bacon instead of ham. She did offer to replace it, but who wants to wait even longer? Again, no apologies. When the check came, server said the manager took off the price of my coffee because I didnt like my skillet. Manager? Why didnt the manager come talk to me? Or better yet, apologize?? Wont be going back there! Sorry....that I ever went there to in the first place.

I have had negative experiences here. The last three times my breakfast order was wrong, and I was the only one in the restaurant! Not only that, it was slow service. When my order was wrong the hostess told me that they have one cook that always messes up, and she took my order back to him to fix. When I got it back, it was even worse than the first mix up! I sent the meal back and the hostess reversed the charges for the breakfast meal that was botched, but still charged me $2.50 for coffee that I barely drank. Glad the hostess clued me in that they have a cook that always messes up.... lets me know I am not the only one who experiences this and not to go there any more.

Ive been there twice and had the same waitress. Waited a half hour before she came back just to get us water while Im looking at her across the restaurant. There was only three tables filled and she told us they ran out of the complimentary donuts. After ordering before we began to eat she throws the bill on the table and then were still waiting for refills while she and another waitress talk about their kids. While eating she asks if we want boxes when we werent done cause she wanted to leave. Wow. Both times since I was there. They should be shut down!

The food is the same as any number of breakfast places. While their donuts are nice, it does not even come close to making up for the horrendous customer service. The wait staff is slow and rude, and the management is even worse. Basically, they play bait and switch with their coupons. Unlike many restaurants, they will nickle and dime you about everything. Avoid this place. There are much better in the area including Blueberry Hill and Harvest. The McDonalds down the street even has better customer service.

Besides the cute donuts that they give you in the beginning (and they only give you a couple of them) this place is AWFUL! My husband ordered the Challah Cinnamon Swirl French Toast and it honestly looked like it came out of a microwave--and tasted that way too! The waitress was rude and when we told her when didnt want coffee she gave us a strange look. Way too overpriced for the food. Poor quality, poor service. Never, ever going back. Dont waste your time, money, and ,morning.

We have never been and now will never be. We tried to go in at one minute after 3, which is their closing time. We got a very curt "We are closed" comment. The restaurant was almost empty. For a new restaurant trying to get buisiness, if this is how they treat customers, I have no interest in ever going back.

Each time we come, we ask for Miguel. Hes so attentive and has a very kind smile. We have been coming for a while now so we feel like he is member of our family. If he hasnt seen us for a while, he has sincerely missed us. The food is good....plenty to bring home and the other service is just as great!

Expensive and not so great. Everything was over cooked, bacon was dried out and hard, pancakes cooked hard and the sausages was burnt and soft in the middle has a feeling of soy meat. I think I almost only enjoy the coffee even that was watered down.

Great donuts but terrible service. I found chicken in my order near the end of the meal after specifically requesting no meat. Waitress just blamed the cook and did not offer anything to reconcile the situation. I will not be going back.

Long wait and the wait staff was extremly rude. I order food to eat not to sit around and read their gay slogans plastered on the walls that look like they used a 2002 hp printer and microsoft office 2005 to make. Would not reccomend.

They dont answer their phones during normal business hours. Called five times at 1230 to place a carry out and no one picked up. When you dine in service is slow and youre lucky if you get a server without having to ask for one.
