Always enjoy my visits here, great food, gray customer service, highly suggested for Chinese buffet. **Update** I enjoyed going here with friends for 5 years, I moved away about a year ago came back to visit and continue my tradition, however, I was highly disappointed. The management has changed, the menu, and the atmosphere are three lowest of the low. Barely anything on the buffet was actually eatible, and the customer service was horrible. Generally wed spend over an hour eating and enjoying ourselves, but after a half hour of really trying to enjoy the food we left. There was 4 of us and only 3 of us actually ate, but refused to only let us pay for just the 3, they actually argued "because he got a plate, he has to pay" he ate literally nothing on it because it was not up to par, but still argued about it. HORRIBLE, NEVER GOING BACK.

I can hardly say anything good about my experience here. The food was from o.k. to nasty. You have your basic fried chicken in various sauces and then after that it gets bad. Egg rolls were nothing but cabbage with no taste. Egg drop soup was basically partially boiled egg whites from a carton. Nothing else in the soup, just snotty egg whites. Sushi with dressing on it? And the nastiest was tartar sauce baked on muscles. I would have asked for my money back, but I was on the road and didnt have time. Side note, we were going to go to the truck stop because of their buffet to try to save time, but they switched to a Dennys. So there you go. Gave up Dennys for this place and then was not happy what so ever. Never coming back.

We had a party of five. My husband got one small plate, took one bite (honestly only one) and chose not to eat. All of the seafood on the buffet is imitation meat. The vegetables were ok. We asked that the bill be adjusted. They looked at the cameras and reported that he took food from the buffet so we would be charged accordingly. Seriously!? They checked the cameras so they clearly saw that he didnt eat. This is poor business practice. We will NOT be going back. I have never had a business refuse to adjust a bill based on a dislike of the food. Ridiculous.

Small quiet place, not a very wide variety of food but it was fresh even 1 hour before closing (e.g. they filled a tray with hot fresh shrimp). It was strange they charged us for a water (not bottled) as a separate drink. Anyway its good to have such choice on a truck stop somewhere in Wisconsin. ps: yummy mint chocolate chip ice cream! pps: probably a bit overpriced. Dinner here is $10.99. Dinner at Hibachi grill at our city with 5 times more food costs $12.59

The food is "meh"...all of the sauces taste the same and are all too salty. It is probably because they dump the leftover pan into the new one when theyre replacing food. Also, on the day we were there, staff were working on snapping the stems from the green beans in the dining area. It was my third time there and each time Ive gone the food was worse. Ill never go there again.

Walked in and walked right back out! This has to be the smallest Chinese buffet Ive ever seen and everything looked like it was swimming in grease. Asked to look at it first and was like never mind. Cant believe they are asking $10.99 for it. I guess for the folks of WI this is good Chinese food, but it for sure isnt like what we have in TX! ;)

This buffet was in my top 3 Ive eaten at as far as food quality goes. Good selection and some unique items Ive never tried at other buffets as well. I did go at 11AM which is when everything is freshest. Its right off the interstate to the east, visible if you are going northbound. A good place to stop quickly if you want chinese.

Its pretty good for a middle of no where Chinese food. I am not sure how its able to keep stuff relatively fresh, since there isnt that many people eating. There is some funny drama where the owner lady kept yelling at her grown son to do this and that. Poor young man, have absolutely zero dignity left.

Slightly greasy food but expected at a place like this. Standard Chinese buffet. Food was tasty, ample, and hot. Word of warning. Stay away from California Rolls and hard boiled eggs. They dont appear to be keep at a cool temp to stay edible. Drinks are not included with meal.

I would say it used to be more of a 4 star but they do things a bit differently these days not quite as good as it used to be. Their food does not seems as fresh as it was on average and sometimes you wind up with cool chicken. Not the worst by any means but used to be better.

Surprisingly more/better food than youd expect for a small town Chinese buffet. The food all seemed pretty fresh and swapped out regularly. Dessert is crappy buffet stuff, as you might guess. No qualms with that as it seems to be standard protocol. I would eat here again.

Incredible food and the friendliest staff. Always something there for my pickiest child to eat. Yes, while it may be a typical Chinese buffet, there is a large menu at the front desk with items not in the buffet for take-out. Highly Recommend!

Staff is friendly. Bathroom needs work. You wont find typical things like chicken balls or spring rolls and they really need wonton soup instead of the 2 soups they have that are gross. The custard cups are great. Truck and RV parking.

Its not bad, but its not OMG special either. Was better than I expected, especially for a small town like Mauston. Polite staff. Very attentive. Kept my drink full, and everything on buffet seemed fresh during my visit (7-13-16).

What a surprise to have a buffet other than an Iron Skillet or a Golden Corral near a truck stop! Food was a B-, Staff was a C, Cleanliness was a B-. My kids were very happy with it so that adds to the better rating as well.

This is the absolute best Chinese buffet you will ever find. I love this place. The food is fantastic. They have a huge selection. And it is always fresh and very tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Very friendly and courteous. Came in at 2:37 pm. Food was hot and constantly being refreshed. Good assortment of foods. $7.99 for lunch and drink was a buck. Would recommend for a quick lunch stop.

My favorite China buffet in 60 miles. Nice people and even better food. No matter what time I go the food never taste old. They have a wide range of options, not just Chinese food.
