Wife and I came here on October 22nd. Ive been wanting to try it for a while. We have been to a few Mongolian style restaurants so for us we have an idea of what we like/expect. First off, service was good. We had no problem with the wait staff. Our problems were with the cooking and choices of items. Number of sauces was impressive but the labeling took some time to figure out. Only had one choice for beef, and it was frozen. Vegetable choices were limited compared to other mongolian places. This place seemed to revel in noodles and I think it does a dis-service. Great for quick filling your stomach and limiting your return trips and getting a 2nd or 3rd run through the line. My next problem was at the grill. (1.) Cross contamination. Some people, like me, dont like seafood. So dont use the utensils on my order that you just used on the adjacent order. (2.) Cleaning the grill surface. Slow down and dont scrape so hard as to cause the just cleaned material to slop over the center to the food cooking across the grill, nor let it migrate to an adjacent order still cooking. (3.) One of the grill staff counting the tip jar and separating it out for everyone, while customers and orders are still present. (4.) General cleanliness. Sorry, but it just seemed real messy behind the grill counter. This general complaint also goes to the cleanliness of the food selection area as well. I think it could have used quite a bit of work there as well. Overall we probably wont be going back unless nothing else sounds good at the time.

I am going to start out by saying that we are not from around here, so my opinion of good customer service is obviously different than what we have experienced in this area as a whole. Our experience started off with a teenager who looked like she was doing us a favor by seating us. When we turned to ask her if she could wipe off the table because it hadnt been, she was gone. A good five minutes later, after my husband came back from the bathroom that didnt have paper towels, the waitress finally came and again, it was like I was making a grand request to have the table wiped off. When we finally went up to start the Mongolian grill experience, I had to pick through several dirty bowls to find a clean bowl. When I told a staff member, his response was, "What do you expect me to do about it?" We almost stopped everything to leave right then. The food was so humbled because of people not being careful When making their selections, it made choosing difficult. When the waitress came back, we asked to talk to the manager. We told her our concerns. She apologized. She had the young man with the attitude apologize, and from their everything was great. I dont feel a conversation should be needed with management to get a five star experience. I sincerely hope the staff learns what great customer service is so that people in the future wont be faced with attitude and lackluster service upon their initial visit.

In town for a few days, I found this awesome eatery. I normally never eat at buffets. Too many filthy animals ruining it for everybody... Mongolian restaurants have several kinds of meats, veggies, & sauces to add to noodles or rice. Pick your raw ingredients, & hand them to one of the cooks. They cook it up right in front of you. Go back for as many plates as you like. They have chicken, pork, beef, & various seafood options, as well. Two types of noodles, or white rice, & many different veggies to choose from. They had at least a dozen sauces to choose from. I do wish the bowls for collecting raw ingredients were bigger. I felt guilty when some veggies kept falling out onto the floor. I ate four different plates of food, all cooked very well. I left happy & stuffed. Reasonably priced, healthy (except for all the sodium in the sauces) ingredients, all you can eat, & as much variety as youve a yen for? Whats not to love??

Today is August 3 at 9:40pm. This is my first time putting a review ever here on Google. This is my first time coming to this location. And really, Im just passing through. Im on a long road trip back to my home in Alaska after visiting my mom in Mississippi. I had brought food with me but didnt bring rice. I went first to the panda express close by and this is the first location that ive ever been to that closed at 9pm. So I went to this restaurant which was located close by and asked for rice. The guy at the front desk goes and get me some. I asked him how much and he said its free. I turned to the manager who was vacuuming and said are you sure and she said yes. If Im ever back in town I am definitely come back to this location!

Its not bad food but the place is very unclean and we needed assistance because our son spilled his drink by accident because when he sat down it was to choose to edge do it split on him, not a single person came to help. Also we asked for a high chair, well we got a high chair alright and everything from the last child in it. Mentioned it to manager she didnt see anything wrong with it! GROSS! Then the waitress when my 10yo walked away togo potty she came and took his plate also he just put his fork down and away his plate went.... Sad! Also when you go to get your food try and ignore the garbage bucket up by the fresh vegetables..... We use to enjoy the place and the freshness, not so much any longer...

The HuHot is the only place that I have ever been that you can make your own food, and if it doesnt taste just like you want it, you can go right back up and try it again. Dont listen to these people about the line a HuHot. Sure one review said the line went one and a half times around the grill, but that amount of time takes about 5 minutes. How long do you wait for your food at a restaurant? I bet its longer than 5 minutes! Another review said, "some weird food choices on the buffet. Potatoes? Cranberries?". Its Mongolian food, you idiot! The point of the buffet is that you can try anything. If you want a very cool dining experience, and great food at a low cost, Go To The HuHot!

There are better places to in the FM area for buffet but if you like being herded and corraled like cattle then this place is for you. There is a lot to offer as far as variety but for the price that is being paid it would be nice to get a bowl big enough to actually hold more than a tiny handful of veggies (most will fall off on the top of your veggie mound and on to the floor). If the lunch rush isnt hectic enough they have a gong at the end of the line that ppl bang when they tip (hey look at me everyone) so there is that added stress trigger. Gone are the days of enjoying your meal. Like I said there are better places for the price

Swung by for a weekend lunch on the suggestion of a family member. Ive been to several Mongolian grill restaurants, so I knew what to expect. Was sat immediately so that was good. Server was great, very attentive, kind and courteous. The restaurant layout and food availability was far below expectations. The traffic flow around the grill and ingredient bars was horrid. Felt like navigating lines at the State Fair. The options for ingredients fell far below other Mongolian restaurants Ive visited. Pricing was pretty out-of-whack with the food and experience. I wouldnt go back here to be 100% honest.
