The service at this establishment was laughable. After getting our table (one of three occupied) we were accosted by lewd stares from workers and what appeared to be the owners of the establishment. Unfortunately our experience only went downhill from there. Our "server" lacked basic serving skills. At one point we had to go up to the bar to get more water after 25 minutes of waiting. The "bartender" filled the water while completely ignoring us. He then proceeded to walk away leaving the water behind the bar while I am literally standing at bar across from him. I waited while the flock of employees and bosses continued to laugh and joke around. Finally one saw the water and handed it to us laughing, saying he must have forgotten. Our disappointment and unhappiness was laughed at among the employees. I would deter anyone from dining at this establishment, to prevent you from the most offensive service you will pay for.

As a musician Im in a different city almost every day in North America (when on tour). Hit this place for a late lunch today on a whim and ordered that old staple, fish and chips. Well without a word of a lie, their F&C had to be the best Ive ever had. First it wasnt swimming in batter so you could taste the fish and the fries were perfect. On top of that they had their own in-house made soda bread that blew my mind! I could have made a meal out of that. Came with honey butter (I think) that was amazing. My friend had the deep fried Wisconsin cheese curds. Crazy good. Im sure each curd took 3 years off my life but it was well worth it. I will definitely come back here if I land in La Crosse again. Check it out.

I could live on their boxty and black and tan o rings omg. ---------- 2017 edit: They no longer serve boxty or the black and tan o rings. They have cut their menu by half, and downsized portions. Unfortunately almost all the good Irish foods are gone. So if you want burgers sandwiches and tacos come on down but for real Irish fare find some place else. Also downgrading from 5 to 3 stars because they have committed a travesty. This is Wisconsin, fried cheese cubes ARE NOT THE SAME as cheese curds. Although delicious, it is blatant false advertising. As any wisconsinite knows, cheese curds are misshapen, squeeky little nuggets of heaven. Not cubed cheese.

Stop in and try their Corn Beef & Cabbage but be prepared to wait I eat here every so often and have always had good food and drinks. When im at Dublin I usually order their famous Corn Beef & Cabbage so so good with usually a Dublin Ale. They also have some fun options my boyfriend once ordered a PB & J Burger and he liked that combination. The only thing I have to note is there are not enough wait staff like one person to the whole deck even when its really busy. Not fair to them and not fair to us to have to wait 45 minutes to get a drink or have it forgotten entirely. Otherwise everything else is great.

A group of us stopped in to Dublin Square on New Years Eve and had a pretty positive experience. Drinks were good and fairly priced. I had a Jameson Dublin Mule which was served in a copper cup, much like a Moscow Mule. I give it two thumbs up. The only real issue we had while here was getting help from the staff which is understandable because it was busy. But I did see a couple of guys walk out and complain they were not waited on - maybe the staff need to better communicate with one another. But overall, a nice experience with my group when we were there for drinks.

Terrible customer service. The waiters barely visited our table and when they did they were not friendly at all. The food was cold and we had to wait over an hour to get it. This is our second time visiting there hoping it might have been better, but after the same experience the second time we are never going back. We are definitely going to be sharing this with all of our friends and family in the La Crosse area. The place was extremely dirty and I advise inspectors to go and check that filthy place out. Next time you want a good tip, try some good customer service.

I wanted to get a group of friends together on a Saturday night for a birthday. I called 2 weeks in advance, as I understand a group of 20 can be hard to manage. I was told they do not take reservations, but had a back room we could use. When we arrived at the time I told them we would, not one of the many employees working took even one drink order from any of us. We all had to walk to the bar and order our own from bartenders who looked as if we were an inconvenience to them. To top that off, we were then told our group was to large to eat there. Never going back!

Great experience. The staff is very professional and well trained and the food is consistently good. The layout leaves something to be desired in the bar area when its busy (late night after food service) with the tables causing pinch points to traffic flow, but thats only an issue for the drinking crowd. The outdoor eating experience is great and the waitstaff tends to the outside patrons as well as they do the inside ones, which is a plus if youve ever felt forgotten eating outside before.

Ive been for dinner several times, lunch about four times, and snacks/drinks and live music a bunch of times and the key here is consistency in the overall. Ive rarely had the same server/bartender, but frankly that doesnt matter as it does in so many places like this. its always excellent. i bring friends who have either lived in or been to Ireland and they tell me every time its the "best this side of Dublin."

Great hangout. Tried cheese curds for first time - great experience. Fish n chips come in two sizes, 2 or 3 fillets. Quality average, no hint of spice mentioned on menu. Service was helpful despite understaffed and very busy. Quoted 45 minute wait, was offered patio seating in 10 minutes. Was crowded and loud, fine for hanging out and enjoying drinks. Recommended.

Sheppards pie was a disappointment, mainly potatoes and onions :( also they were out of bangers and they didnt sell the beer they recommended with the Sheppards pie and hadnt changed the menu. I leven the price didnt make up for it -12$. Also we waited forever for our food and it wasnt even hot when it got to the table. To be fair it was lunch on saturday.

Great place to go for a bite and a brew. Lunch time is especially nice as service is much better, whereas dinners can get busy and staff is less attentive. I especially remember frequenting this pub during the last World Cup since they were one of a few places in town to show the games.

We had a wonderful experience. The food was great the beer was cold and the outdoor seating was just the right thing. Appetizers were amazing. Will definitely come back. Definitely recommend you check it out also. Our server Jordan was extraordinarily helpful and efficient !
