This is your typical below average bar resturant. Nothing about the food was memorable. Catfish Poboy was all hogie with very little taste. Then when ordering, we didnt prefer to have 1 of the 3 sides that they offer so we asked to substitute a cup of soup (beer cheese was the soup of the day). We were told that they would have to charge us for the soup as if we were just ordering it and couldnt just substitute it and charge accordingly since it wasnt one of the side choices...and that came directly from management. The server (Jeff) obviously has not had any training as a server (however he seemed like a nice person). If they are trying to send a message that they are not kid friendly I would give them 5 stars for that. They bring out kids drinks in these very large red glasses and expect a 3 yr old to drink out of it. Then when asked if we could get a smaller glass, they bring out a kids cup with no cover and filled to the rim with Milk. How am I possibly supposed to expect a child to drink that with out it ending up in their lap? Lastly, I was sitting there thinking about something positive about my experience and the view came to mind. Beautiful sunset! Then, of course, 4 motorcycles and a train come by right as I was telling my wife how nice of a patio they have. I guess some days you just cant win. Hopefully they can pull it together as this area could use a nice place to dine out. Gonna be a while before I give it another try.

Probably the worst dining experience we have had in a long time. So bad in fact, we went back a second time to order something else because we couldnt believe it could be so bad twice. We were wrong. Where to start? French fries tasted like they were fried in burnt oil. Disgusting! Chicken meat on nachos was cold and served with giant slices of raw jalapenos. The pizza ordered with extra sauce had no discernable sauce whatsoever. Worse, however, were the toppings and cheese which tasted anything but fresh. Maybe Hormel canadian bacon and canned pineapple. Seriously, most frozen pizza is better. Tried every single beer but the IPA, a kind I dont like. The only thing worthwhile to drink is the chocolate beagle amber. It WAS really good. The rest may taste OK, but are seriously lacking in depth and certainly body. They all seemed watered down, flat and seriously lacking. Try the sour cherry bourbon ale. I dare you to find something better to say about it than it tastes like flat, watered down cough medicine. No joke! It was awful. It was also freezing in there. We all ate dinner with our winter jackets on. The service was great and the building is remodeled very nicely. Its close to our house and we sooo wanted to like it. But no.

Their beer is fantastic! Ive never gotten a beer flight and loved them all before. The milk stout was outstanding. The appetizers were also very delicious. We had the pig wings and the garlic knots. Both were wonderful. The meals were what I would call not bad. Nothing spectacular, but we were all satisfied. The Mac and Cheese was pretty good and the fries were great. What really shined was the service. Everyone was very friendly and our server was attentive. My wife had to eat quickly and asked them to rush her food. She had her burger in about 5 minutes. Overall, this place is great and has a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back again!

The food that I have had there has been good. How ever my dad had a cheese burger there that was terrible, it smelled rotten and it was overcooked so we sent it back. When I received the bill I was credited $6 for a $10 meal. I spoke with the owner who proceeded to argue with me that the meat wasnt rotten and he didnt know what he was talking about. I told her that it was ridiculous that we had to partially pay for something that was inedible. Other than that our service was fine and its good to see that they are training in new people as it has been very busy.

Food was decent. But not everything came out right. A pizza was messed up and they fixed it by tossing some additional meat on the side where it was missing and put it in the oven for a couple minutes. So on one side, you had baked Canadian bacon and on the other it was barely baked. I think that could have been done better. The Cuban sandwich was good. The Larry beer was good too. The view of Lake Onalaska and the sunset was great. The patio is really nice until the bugs come out to feed.

Very odd experience and not at all what I was anticipating. We ate in the bar which appears to be a relaxed atmosphere, but they played techno music the entire time. The staff were there to be friends with each other, not wait on customers. Nachos were very good would certainly try that again if I ever had to go back, all other food was below par. 4 of us ordered and only one person minimally liked their food. We were very excited to try this out, but were pretty disappointed.

We were here for a sports tournament and heard good things about this place. We arrived at 7 on a Friday night and were told 25 minutes for a wait, totally fine. 60 minutes later we left. People were seated before us who arrived after. We saw open tables and were told the kitchen was backed up. Yet a couple who arrived at the same time left when we did and they were seated. Sorry, you blew your only chance. Well take it tourist $s elsewhere.

All around super disappointing. Went there on a Wednesday night and wasnt very busy. Took over 15 mins to get served drinks. Over an hour to get food (which was hamburgers). They were just average. I had to go up to ask for my bill to avoid being there for over 2 hours. Average bar food for an expensive price and horrible service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Started with the Pig Wing appetizer, they were fantastic. That was only the beginning. Highly recommended the short rib grilled cheese, the hangover and the cuban. No I didnt eat them all, I shared with my wife and daughter All three were really good and to our table quickly. Our waitress , Claire, was fun, friendly and helpful. Will be back again to try more. Great service. Definitely a nice "spice up" from the local franchise restaurants. Careful with the jalapeños though. Hottest and freshest I have ever had. But overall a great place to eat with plenty of options that are not available from other restaurants in this area. Definitely best "classy" bar in Onalaska,WI.

Food is great. I give that 4 stars. Thats what keeps us coming back. And the view over the river on the patio is 5. View cant be beat. But the beer needs some work. Its getting there...but not there yet. If you call yourself a brewery, the beer better be top notch imo. There are too many other places to go.

Beer is great, will return to have a beer at the bar and fill my growler, just not to have food. Have experienced problems when ordering food on three separate occasions and have decided to not return for a meal. Update: Owner did contact me after sending a comment via their website, this was appreciated.
