Ive read everyones reviews about this place and Im wondering if anyone has ever had a good burger because this place not good. I live within walking distance of this place and when I moved here a little over a year ago my fiance and I decided to try the local places. We walked, I realize this place is a drive in, but there are only a few tables to sit at outside and that day they were taken up entirely buy a baseball team, so we stood at the counter. Not a huge deal. Our waitress, she was blonde, was very friendly, we had no complaints about her. Her co-worker, a brunette, was horrible. She was so rude to the cooks. We heard her swearing at them and yelling at them, loud as life in front of any customers around. Our food took a long time and when we got out food nothing was seasoned. Not even salt. I can make better burgers at home and for much less than what I paid for our two burgers, sides and drinks. Nothing tasted great like other Kenosha residents have commented and what kind of employee yells and swears at other staff members in front of customers? For almost $20 we will go somewhere else for burgers and fries.

Food is delicious, especially the burgers. Splurge and get the double bacon burger, its THE reason to come here. Service is fast and good, but they only take cash. Theres an ATM on site if you need it. If you get fries, they dont put too many in your basket, like 25 fries tops. Most of appetizers are a little expensive and they dont give you too much. The fried pickles, shrimp, and chicken are really good, but again, they dont give you too much. They dont have coke or pepsi, but they do have homemade root beer and orange soda, the root beer is great the orange soda is only OK. If youre strapped for cash, just get a double bacon cheeseburger for $5.95, if youre loaded, buy everything, this is an awesome place to support.

So, Im a "lifer" - over 50 years of enjoying Spot burgers! Besides the burgers (GRILLED ONIONS are a must), the fish sandwiches with extra tartar sauce are surprisingly good, too. The Spot is open LATE-just the place for after bar munchies. But, be forewarned, the Spots prices are not exactly "budget" fare. Our order for 3 people (4 cheese burgers, 3 root beer whirls, 1 fry, 1 onion ring) came to $24.85 + a tip. For the Kenosha, Wisconsin area these prices arent competitive with the areas other drive-in restaurant, "Big Star." But ... I keep going back ...

Ever since my Mom moved to Kenosha in the early 90s we have been coming to the Spot. I dont know why but every so often I daydream about the burgers. Get them with grilled onions - its a burger worth driving from IL to eat. I would say that if you are expecting anything other than an old school drive in - go to Sonic. If you want something that hasnt changed in a gazillion years and is open late enough to allow some bar fun before hand - do it. Kenosha is lucky to have such great tasting grub.

One of the best burgers I have ever had. Doesnt get 5 stars because nothing else was very good. The fries were of the frozen variety, the friend pickles were not that great. But the burgers... I will tell you we travel 45 minutes to get these burgers, they are magnificent. Get two cheeseburgers, not the doubles, singles and forgo everything else. Except the root beer, thats pretty amazing too.

i have lived in kenosha almost all my life. there has been many great burger places in kenosha. but there has never been one that has its own unique tasting burgers like the spot. my personal fave is the bacon double cheese burger. WARNING !!! these burgers taste like they are not for the colestrol watching eaters. i dont know what the food facts are but why cares the way these things taste.

Its a drive in, so its kinda hard to say anything for decor. By all means, its an older place, and the building is a little bit grimier, though I cant say its ever bothered me. The food is very old-fashioned fast-food style, very greasy, and very, very delicious. All of it. They have really good shakes, though their burgers tend to be the best. Seriously, check it out. Its worth it.

First time going yesterday ordered double steak burger 6 bucks and fries were 3 bucks bag not even half full burger reminded me of regular hamburger at McDonalds this place is way to overpriced wont be going back didnt even put cheese on it wanted 90 cents extra for that this is not a place to take your family youll spend 80 bucks for a family of 4 and thats without desert.

Most incompetent employees. Ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon, onion, pickle, ketchup. No onions, had mustard on it, when i explicitly said absolutely no mustard. Buns looked like they were soaked in lukewarm oil, pretty much fell apart at every bite. McDonalds burgers with absolutely nothing on them taste better than this places food

Got the chicken dinner twice now for almost $8 and the chicken legs both times where the size of my pinky finger no exaggeration the price for the dinner is not worth it all the chicken both times where tiny and not worth my bucks Ill go to Big Star at least they give you a roll and the chicken is decent size

The place of my parents first date is still the place of memories and great burgers. The last of a dying breed, The Spot delivers great burgers, root beer floats, and delectable onion rings. But dont bring a credit card or debit card - better bring cash! Times have changed and they do have an ATM on site.

When I was Kiwanis league for baseball in kenosha, the team I was on was sponsored by the spot drive in. Win or lose we always got a free meal with that delicious root beer in a mug. But if we did win we got dessert! Old time favorite to this day! Great burgers the old fashion way! Keep it up Spot!

Great old fashioned burger place. They still come to the car to take your order and bring your food on a tray to hang on your window. Watch out if its a windy day... yes it happen. Our tray blew off the window. Fortunately we didnt have food on it. Burgers and fries... Chocolate Malts! Yum!

Excellent burgers and root beer. I have been a customer for over 50 years, and the flavor and quality is incredibly consistent year after year. The root beer is truly the "good stuff" made on site. Hot Fudge sundaes made with real Ice Cream. Try one if you arent stuffed from the burgers.

Okay....truly the only reason the spot does not get 5 stars is because the prices are a tad high for quick food. Otherwise they have one of the best burgers in Kenosha and their cheese squares are astounding. If you never had them before, they are a must! The cheese is so creamy!

Best place grab something to eat after work or just a quick treat. You just have pull up and order, thats it. Their malts are an all time favorite of mine. In fact, everything I have tried there I like. I will be going back again to try another item off their menu.
