This was my first time at Five Guys restaurant. I visited Glendale location. They play very loud rock music, which is pretty annoying because it is not to everyones taste and all the noise makes it chaotic and disorienting. Its a place for food consumption, not a rock concert. Because of this staff and patrons have to yell in each other ears. Interior decor is 60s Americana, which I find ugly. Service, seating, and bathroom were OK. For some reason they had a big barrel of free peanuts in the middle of the restaurant, which felt silly and out of place. Why? Its not a bar! How about lowering your prices instead of giving away free peanuts? Overall atmosphere is pretty unwelcoming. You can have much better eating experience at your local McDonalds. Food is way overpriced for whats offered. I was charged $14.40 total for a hamburger, regular size fries, and a regular size drink. I heard that they were pricey, but had to try anyway. Quality and taste wise their hamburger was no different than what you can get at Wendys, while Burger Kings Whopper tastes even better. Also, the hamburger was too stacked which made it impossible to hold and it came apart pretty quickly, creating a big mess. Their fries are freshly made, but too greasy and salty, and they didnt taste that good to me. I really dont understand whats with all the hype about Five Guys, in my opinion theyre just overrated. For a good quality hamburgers you can visit such tried and true local places like Culvers, Kopps, and Bubbas. I for one will never go back to Five Guys restaurant.

I was excited to try this new burger place as it was supposed to have really good food, but I was a bit disappointed. It wasnt that the burger wasnt good, but it didnt blow me away either. For a burger, fries and drink I paid over 10 dollars, but it seemed like the ingredients used to make it were cheap. When I unwrapped my cheeseburger the bun was smashed and looked like something you would get at a larger fast-food chain. The cheese was American slices (I didnt see any other options, but I didnt ask either) and the lettuce looked like it came out of one of the pre-made salad bags at the store. The burger tasted fine, but it wasnt any better than other burgers of comparable price. The fries were good, but a bit too salty for my taste. The dining area was clean and I liked the free peanuts while I waited for my food. I received my food in a timely manner and it was nice and hot when I picked it up. I was not a fan of the loud music in such a small space and I found the employees having to scream out orders to be heard over the music to be fairly annoying. I would only go back if I was with a group of people who really wanted to try this place out.

I had a burger there. It tasted more like dead racoon and less like burger, and 10 later I literally had to run to the bathroom and empty my whole bowel. The place should be renamed "Five Guys Colon Cleansing". My friends joked until it happened to them as well... I cant believe they havent been shut down for health violations. Someone who is immunocompromised could be killed eating there. Then again, in countries like England where restaurants receive a hygiene rating and are closed for health violations, this has never happened to me.

The cheeseburger doesnt stand up to its price. Go a few blocks south, and get a double cheeseburger at Kopps and youll get more meat, more taste, and more company for a dollar less. If you want to stay in the Bayshore mall, then this is a decent yet pricy fast food option.

Love their burgers and fries! You can put any sides on your burger for no extra cost. I say a place like that is doing business well. The burger itself is juicy and thick. You get what you pay for. Yummm. Its totally worth it.

Just wish they had a bigger staff. The people here are clearly overworked but they handle it well. Theres usually a pretty big line around dinner but despite the fact that its mobbed Ive never had a problem with my order.

Overpriced, but very fresh! Good fries, loads of toppings. The staff at the Glendale store are always friendly and smiling. Avoid peak times for a better experience. If youre cheap, dont bother going in $$$

I went there and was cheated on the portion of fries I ordered. He fixed it, but acted like it was my fault. I am not sure if I want to come back. Prices are high for some burgers and fries.
