So disappointed after reading the glowing reviews on Yelp. I brought my daughter to visit Cornell College and was looking for a nice sit down option for dinner. Three of us came in and were seated right away. Our waitress brought us drinks and menus and was very pleasant. 30 minutes later, yes I checked my watch, she took our order. We ordered two Linguine with Scallops and Shrimp, and one Pork Tenderloin special. I would say they were busy, but there are only 12 tables. Regardless, she refilled our drinks and then the real wait began. 25 minutes after taking our order she apologized that it was taking so long, but they had "run out of Linguini and that were making more". Another 20 minutes and the pasta dishes arrived, but the Pork Tenderloin was a pork sandwich. I pointed out that it wasnt what I had ordered, and the waitress confirmed the mistake. (She actually recommended the special.) She then took the sandwich back as my party ate their dinner. (The Linguine would have gotten you 2-1/2 stars. Why would you drown expensive scallops in cream sauce so that you cant taste them?) My party finished (10 min) and the waitress took their plates and offered to comp my meal. I said, "Thank you. Can you wrap it up to go and just bring the check?" At this point we had been there an hour and a half and I had yet to eat. I wasnt looking to hang out. After another 10 minute stretch (still no meal) she brought the check and told me that the owner would only take $7 off the bill (the meal was $17). At this point I just wanted to leave and signed the $51.38 bill with a $5 tip. (Sorry waitress, I didnt vent my frustration with your owner on you, but it still cost you.) Three minutes later, my food came and I left without incident. The Pork Tenderloin special was not worth the wait. Granted, I ate it with plastic ware in my hotel room, but while the pork was good, the sides were misguided, and under cooked (carrots are not that difficult to get right). In the end, I blame this calamity on the owner. Every business makes mistakes. Its how you handle them that defines who you are to your customers. When you screw up, dont blame your customer, and dont send someone else to deliver bad news. I wont be coming back.

Beyond a doubt the best BLT Ive ever had - nothing fancy, nothing strange - just a perfect blend of perfect ingredients. The lemonade was spot-on as well. Just the right thing on a hot summer afternoon.

Amazing locally sourced food. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, walls adorned with ever-changing local art, and the food is exceptional. If you visit Mount Vernon, you have to stop here

First I found a hair in my food.I didnt mention it because my date was friends with the staff. Then later the waitress was rude about me not wanting to eat done food that my date wanted.
