I have been there twice now, I loved the house margarita on my first visit, I actually had 2. We split the queso dip, it was delicious. I had a rice bowl that was great, my boyfriend had the tacos which he said were pretty dry. I then went a second time just for drinks today. I was so excited for another margarita.. they were just so refreshing! But this time It was gross... too much alcohol I could barely drink it. (Our whole group actually felt this way) The waitress said they changed the recipe. I hope they see this and change it back! I could have drank the "old recipe" margaritas all day sitting in the sun, new ones... well until I know they change it back, I wont be ordering anymore. I do love how everything tastes fresh, and the service has also been excellent both times! Not your average Mexican restaurant.

We decided to try the "new place" for lunch and are we glad we did. First of all, the staff is very friendly and helpful. But, friendly staff can only take you so far. We ordered off the lunch menu. The prices are quite fair especially considering the amount of food you get. I ordered the taco combo. Wow. Great flavors and plenty of food. My wife tried the Achiote Chicken Bowl. It was a great portion and the chicken was outstanding. If you do stop, and you like corn on the cob, you MUST try the "Mexican Street Corn". It is incredible ! Then as we were getting our check, our server offered us the churos. Something we didnt need but are so glad we got. Bottom line, we highly recommend Roble and we WILL be back.

I enjoyed dinner with family (including kids) and two friends as Roble on a recent evening. I heard the Tacos were good, so thats where we explored. They have 13 different kinds of tacos, which you can mix-and match. I enjoyed the Chorizo Sweet Potato, Mahi-Mahi, and Pineapple Pork. Each were very different from the other, and each very enjoyable. Taco meals come with a side, which I selected and enjoyed the Skillet Sweet Potato Mash. Roble has an extensive tequila menu, which we did not explore, and a very limited beer selection. The atmosphere is fun and casual, and certainly not quiet. Roble was a good first impression, and if Im looking for mexican or tacos in Eau Claire, Id definitely return.

Was really disappointed when we ate there today,2-13-17 waiter was rude when I asked her if a menu item was good here comment was not what I expected, also was not informed the chips werent free what kind of mexican restaurant doesnt offer complimentary chips and salsa, then the menu items are overly priced, our bill came to $ 71.56 for four people that is insane for not alot of food, also my tacos where cold. Never really comment on restaurants but this one really disappointed me for many reasons sorry for the bad review hope all goes well for your business but I will most likely not return.

Being from South Texas I know what good Mexican food is supposed to be. For starters every Mexican food place I have ever been to has complimentary chips and salsa. The beef fajitas I had were bland and the pico de gallo had no spice. The fajitas were also missing two key components. Rice and beans. Charro beans or even refried beans would have been nice. The enchiladas my wife had were fried and enchiladas are not supposed to be fried they should be baked and covered in a delicious sauce.

Waited 10mins for someone to acknowledge we say down. (Please seat yourself, wasnt busy at all) Ordered margaritas and it took 15 mins to get those, they were pretty tasty though. My friend ordered the 3 tacos- it was cold and dry. She got a side of corn on cob that was cold but pretty good. I ordered enchiladas and my food was cold and terrible. We waited over 40 minutes for our food and got the check after our first bites. Not impressed at all. Service and food were terrible.

What a disappointment. First, and last visit. Paper menus covered in old food to start, nothing like running your fingers through other peoples food. Then it was 45 minutes before we got our food (it wasnt that busy either). Ordered a rice bowl, bad idea. Rice was soggy, like dripping wet soggy, the sauce they put on it overpowered any other flavor that may have existed. For this place being a newer restaurant it was a major let down.

I have never had to write a review on a restaurant but i have to on this one. This was the worst food i have ever ate was horrible, the waiter never asked me for a refill the hour i was there and seemed to be only worried about the tip, way way to expensive for beens and rice, and to top it off my cousin got food poisoning. Horrible experience and would not recommend the food ever..

It was good was disappointed when i wanted to order quesa dip. Todays tortilla chips with green chili queso topped with guacamole. Queso fresco and cilantra. It did not come with guacamole. My waitress said it is not served with guacamole and the menu is miss printed. They need to fix it or cross it out cause miss print is miss leading. But over was great in all areas.

I have a hard time giving this rating because the atmosphere and the staff were awesome! However, restaurants are about food and three out of the four of us had cold tacos. The sides were good. We also really liked the bottomless chips and three salsas for $3.5. We will try it again for the sake of the other reviews, but wasnt super impressed with the first visit.

All around great first experience. The tacos are phenomenal and the pricing is very appropriate. The chips seem freshly made in house with good seasoning. Surprisingly decent craft beer tap selection ( Surly, Ale Asylum, Brewing Project. Also, service was very good and food came very fast within 10 minutes. Would recommend to any mexican food fan.

Overall a good experience. Pleasant atmosphere, excellent food, great service. There is a new menu, which caused quite a wait for my food. However, the waitress apologized and the manager came over and apologized as well. Extremely well-handled. The food was absolutely fantastic- as were the margaritas- you can tell they use fresh lemon juice!

One of the better new restaurant atmosphere feel and did an excellence job with the redesign. This location is new, so I give them some time to work out the details but is an unique to the area. Typically Southwestern-style and Mexican-style have free chips and salad but they have bottomless chips. Will give them some time before returning.

Kind of overpriced. 11 dollars for two- 2 1/2 inch long lukewarm tacos, which were basically a little bit of burnt meat, a pepper and parmesan cheese. Waiter was distracted the whole time and threw the check clipboard down on the table as he walked by. Wouldnt recommend this place to anybody.

Im a huge fan of this place. We may have a seemingly endless supply of Mexican restaurants around the Chippewa Valley, but this one is certainly worth having around. Get yourself a pitcher of their classic margarita and pair it with some enchiladas, and you are sure you leave happy.

Really great experience at Roble. I had lunch with my family including two very small children. A lot of different street tacos to choose from. All of the combinations I tried were great. My wife likes spicy foods and the chicken tortilla out pushed her boundaries. Good choice.
