If you live in the small town of St. Francisville and never venture out much (or have never enjoyed real Mexican or Tex-Mex food), then you are most likely apt to rate this restaurant 3 stars or more. While the food is not inedible, its not as high quality that some of the raters are claiming it to be. What Mexican restaurant makes you pay for chips and salsa? This one does. What Mexican restaurant doesnt have fresh guacamole? This one doesnt. What Mexican restaurant charges $12 for a chicken quesadilla with no other sides? Yup, you guessed it. The menu is large and has a wide variety, but its a far cry from "good" food. Its edible and thats about it. The flavor of the grilled chicken and steak (not even close to being able to call it carne asada) is about the best thing about this place.

I really dont know what to say about the place, the only thing i order is the chicken tenders and the quesadilla because im too scared to try anything else... The sad thing is, everyone at my school calls it "Que Poo Poo". I give this place a 6/10, but one time i ordered some queso from here and it was very much like a soup, and i wasnt planning on eating it with a spoon (i prefer eating it with chips). My waitress was nice enough to not charge me for it and she said she would Bring me a new one, but when she brought out the new queso it was still soupy... The other day i ordered some queso and it was better than last time, i was very happy... 9/10 for the queso :))))))!!!!!!! Okay my class bout to get out so i gotta go, hmu on the francis reviews for more #TTYL

After waiting an hour and a half for food, the waitress comes out and tells us she cancelled the order because "It just is not gonna happen." We talked to a manager, and we were told that it was all the waitresss fault for not letting the management know. She said this right after telling us that the waitress had told her we were getting tired of waiting. Manager also told us she has plenty of other people, even waiting in line to get in, so I guess she does not have to worry about us. So, no food, lost almost two hours of our life, and all we got were lame excuses and a half hearted apology. Never again. Also, the place was so lous we could not hear the conversations at our own table.

I love to eat here any time Im in the area. They have the most deliciously seasoned burger. As a female, I usually take half to go, especially if I order fries. The fish taco is also da bomb. Lightly battered fish, zesty lettuce & sauce.

The service was horrible and food was not that good. Second visit called a to go order in and none of it was right and manager was rude and inconsiderate and disrespectful. I will never be visiting there again

Polite staff, despite having to explain nonsensical refusal for simple substitutions. Unimaginative menu, bland presentation. No fresh ingredients, toppings or garnish. Salsa is the best thing they produce.
