We used to frequent Perkins in Delavan once a week and always asked for the waitress, Brandy. It has been more than a few months since we ate there and thought on a friday night, it would be great to go out to a sit down meal at Perkins. We were looking forward to this night out. I ordered the lemon pepper salmon dinner with baked potato and salad. All I could eat was the salad. The fish was mostly raw and undercooked. The potato was hard in spots and undercooked as well. The waiter was more than happy and willing to replace the salmon and potato. We needed to be going by the time that would have been done, so I asked our waiter to please just replace the salmon and put it in a to-go box. (Thank you Tyler for being such a wonderful person to try and make this right for me, I appreciate that greatly.. give Tyler a raise you guys). When I got home, I opened the box only to discover that this salmon was even more undercooked than the one I was served at the restaurant. The salad was great though, but hardly justifies being charged the full price of my meal which I did not eat. Our bill was not adjusted after my complaint either. And I am left to leave the restaurant still hungry only to go home and find I still cannot eat the replacement fish for the same reason. Pretty upset by this so I called them up to let them know the salmon is more undercooked than the first one, and they need to tell their cook to learn how to prepare a salmon before someone gets sick. I was offered reimbursement by giving out my personal information over the phone. I declined that option. I just wanted them to know about this incident to save from a lawsuit in this day and age of sue anyone for anything kind of thing.. thinking of becoming a secret shopper for the town of Delavan, so watch out.

I wish there was a zero star. Today is Fathers Day. It just turned out I was alone at lunch time. Family was not in town yet. Though Id stop in for a bite. They were understandably busy. They had a waiting list. No problem. I gave my name and said Im "one." Hostess said wait would be short. Now I understand the big groups make them the big money. But I watched cars pull in while standing in Perkins waiting, and those people were seated before my "one," at least 4 times! Then I heard the hostess say to another girl working "hes only one." And I was skipped again. I explained to the hostess I heard what she said and told her if you werent seating single dads today she shouldnt have wasted a half hour of my time and I left. Happy Fathers Day Perkins Delavan Wi! NEVER AGAIN.

My strawberry waffle plate was amazing! But my bosses waffle plate for him was terrible, the waffle was half cooked and the sausage was cold. The manager did nothing to make it better, did not even offer to take anything off his check, he paid in full and has been going there for 35 years and will never go back. Courtney (the manager) killed his love for the place.

We have come here several times and service has always been slow. This last time we sat at our table for almost 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. we had to get our own cream from another table since the waitress decided she didnt want to come back. instead of trying to make it right we were basically ignored. We will not be coming back.

Assistant Manager was so very nice. Very interactive! Sat us as soon as we got into the door. He also was very interactive with my 8 year old son. Then our server Erica was so friendly. She was very fast at getting our order in and our food out. We waited less than 10 minutes. Will def be back when im out here. Keep up the great work :)

Service could be faster but the food is good. They changed up the menu and got rid of one of my favorite items so thats upsetting (Club sandwich). Pies are good, a little too rich in sweets for me but its good. Prices are good so you wont break the bank by going here. It is good for a quick bite before going somewhere.

Good service, good breakfast food. Fast, cheap and easy. ASK YOUR SERVER ABOUT BAKED GOODS WITH ALLERGIES! The answers change based on location, so beware. However where the muffins are safe, get them, they are delicious! Enjoy! A great family place!
