Hapag Pilipino is nestled in between Lech Go and Valerios in St. Francis Square located in Daly City. Daly City, in sum, is Filipino central. Hapag Pilipino adds delectable Filipino cuisine to those who crave Filipino food, from whole lechon, pancit bihon, and diniguan to free halo-halo. I mainly come here to take advantage of their AYCE lunch buffet on Sundays after Mass. Its about $25 per person, but for the amount of food youre getting, its worth it. Servers are very friendly, speak Tagalog and English, and you know who they are based on their lime green polo shirt. I erased one star because most of the time, this location is closed for a private party. Its nice that the employees put a sign on the front, but then youd have to resort to other options. If you want a sit-down Filipino restaurant within the area, drive to Metro Centers Manila Eatery. Overall, I recommend you, yes you, to come and visit Hapag Pilipino!

Decided to try this restaurant since I was in Daly City. Glad I did because the staff are very friendly, the environment clean, and the food very good for the price. So good in fact that Im going to talk Tom into taking me there again today so he can try it. Very heavy on pork dishes which is perfect for me - lechon (done with pork belly not suckling pig), pigs feet, fried pork rind which I love; but they have chicken, fish, pancit, garlic as well as white rice, salads and cooked vegetables and lumpia. They change the dishes daily so maybe someday Ill get to try oxtails with eggplant. Giving it five stars because of what it is, a shopping center restaurant with an excellent all you can eat lunch buffet - not fine dining but very very good.

Not very happy with this place. I ordered Pork Sinigang (forgive my spelling) to go. The pork was cooked THEN tossed in to the soup for my order vs cooking it in the soup like youre supposed to in a stew. It was tough. And for those prices, i got enough pork for one serving in a 4 servings soup. They kind of cheaped out on me on that one.

I had my daughter Debut birthday party at Hapag Pilipino, everyone is very satisfy with there services, the food, music, the time we spend in the restaurant. We surely recommend Hapag if you plan to have your own party. Thanks Mr. Willy and to your family.

Had pinakbet and inihaw na baboy. The pakbet was super good, however the inihaw was a bit on the dry side. Service was great so I would recommend this place to others.
