This is an amazing neighborhood restaurant, featuring French-inspired cuisine from a fresh, seasonal menu. They have a wood-fired grill which they use to impressive effect; many of the dishes have a delicious smokey quality to them. Ive eaten here several times, and the food has always impressed, ranging from very good to excellent. Service is usually impeccable...professional, knowledgeable and unobtrusive, on par with the best. Desserts are not a strong point, but check out their very unusual (but tasty) house-made ice cream flavors, like vanilla and black pepper. The atmosphere here is pretty casual, and the decor is very minimal; its a great place to come for an amazing, but unfussy, dinner.

People there are very friendly and its a very nice place to enjoy weekend night. The entree we ordered are all wonderful. The wine they picked are nice too. However, the reason I give four star is because of the starter. None of the starters we ordered is good. Its either too salty or too overcooked. One of the starters for my friend is even burnt. Im wondering if they just ask a learner to cook the starters since you will feel like the starters and the entrees are from different restaurants. Anyway, since other stuff are wonderful, I will still say its 4+.

The best slow-cooked rib Ive ever had. However, recently they changed the menu and swapped it out for another rib eye, which is not as good but still very delicious. I also reccomend trying their fois gras, grilled octopus, and duck eggs. The place is very cozy, cute, and I never had to wait past 10 minutes for a table. In the heart of Fremont neighborhood so there are plenty of dessert and drink places to go after. The cocktails are not the best, but they have a couple of very decent ones.

Went here after reading their restaurant week menu online, but unfortunately their real menu was completely different; nothing from it really appealed to me. I went with the happy hour burger, which was very good. I think there was some sort of non-beef meat on it, but the description of it was sparse. Maybe pork belly, maybe fois gras - it was very rich. Not sure if itd be fois gras for $10 though...

Go here for the quality of food you will find in downtown without the elitist vibe and prices. The short rib is a must if on the menu, as well as the steak frite (at $15 on Thursday its an amazing deal). They also have a great wine list that is priced very well, definayely ask for a reccomendation based on your wine taste and budget and you wont be disappointed.

Cétait super! The pâté was to die for and the fries the best Ive had yet! Le proprio est très sympathique et ma fait goûté à du bon vin. The Pomerol is actually named after a commune in Bordeaux where they grow Merlot and Cab Franc, a nice change from Saint-Émilion wine, which my dad and French uncle collect! Belle ambience.

EASILY one of the best restaurants in Seattle if you are in to compelling plates of food The atmosphere isnt impressive (not particularly romantic), but anyone you invite to dinner here (foodie or not) will think you are a genius for discovering this place. Wine list is a work in progress...Nuff said...

loved the whole eperience. the servings were so generous, and so delicious. the venison and the foie gras were the highlights of the night. just one thing, the wine list was OK, not great, so maybe bringing your own bottle and pay the corking fee is not a bad idea.

Perfectly cooked chicken. Fun drinks. Cozy atmosphere. This place has it all. I was able to partake in a restaurant week special with a three course meal attractively priced. The staff are great. Highly recommend.

the food tasted really great but the service was awful. It was a third full but we were rushed the whole time. Appetizers came before cocktails. It was hard to enjoy dinner. I feel bad for the chef.

Our go to local restaurant spot. The food is always warming and hearty, the atmosphere friendly, intimate and cosy. We love the barman too, its like dinner and a show to watch him work.

Fantastic, unique dishes. Wood fire grill is the centerpiece for fish, meats and veggies. Good happy hour and daily specials for a great value. You should go!

Casual atmosphere with not much fuss. Some execution issues with my steak at some was undercooked leading to some under rendering.

My experience: good service, perfectly grilled octopus, tasty oysters, and a delicious pork steak. Ill definitely be returning.

Ok food, decent potatoes, but they overcooked my steak. The bread is pretty awful here.
