Have been here quite a few times, but after sitting in the restaurant for ten minutes yesterday being completely ignored by the staff (no water, no offer of a menu, no acknowledgement whatsoever), we will not be returning. My husband and I work in the service industry, and understand that sometimes a server can be overwhelmed, but not even being acknowledged with a "Sorry, Ill be with you shortly!" or the equivalent was inexcusable. Given that service is usually slow, and the relatively high price point of the food items, we find no reason to return. A pity, since the food and drinks were delicious.

This is my favorite restaurant in Greenwood, and maybe even Seattle. I love their food and their design. I first went for one of their Boogaloo 60s dance nights and it was a blast. I keep coming back because of their food. The frites are killer. My cocktail of choice is the Do The Bambi but with gin, and I make everyone try it. And after all of that, there is the Twin Peaks Black Lodged theme back room/restroom area. Because why not. No cherry pie on the menu, but damn good coffee.

I love the food but the service was horrible! Just wanted a glass of water while waiting and the waitress kept saying there were no pitchers available. Finally after 25 minutes I got her to bring me just a glass of water. Poutine, beet salad, classic cocktails, brussel sprouts and mac and cheese are delicious. But service killed it for me.

This place is solid on food, drinks and media. Catch some silent film or watch a Fellini while you eat. Prices are reasonable. The absinthe menu is cheaper than elsewhere. Half off night is on Monday all day. Get a gainsbourger with gruyère and a glass of red wine, finish up with a glass of mansinthe.

The Poutine, the steak frites, house red wine, chocolate mousse were all excellent! You want to sit up front by the window to get good air flow. The air doesnt circulate well in the restaurant, but the awesome food more than makes up for it!

Our waiter was just a doll. They were playing Weimar cinema on the projector and the candles were flickering. Amazing mood here- well decorated, well lit, quiet-ish for a bar. Love it! So great for whispers, secrets, dates, and giggles.

Im here now. Like, if youre reading this review- I am here now. This French inspired bar is Greenwoods most hidden secret. Its got the vibe of a Capitol Hill bar, but its tucked away in the G-Wood neighborhood. Back to my drink.

12/10/14 dinner. French dip was not good...meager amount of cold beef, dry bread, bland au jus. Ive eaten here before, and have had no complaints. Hopefully just a blip, but very disappointing.

The croque-monsieur is quite tasty and so is the vegetarian poutine. Waitresses are friendly and let you eat in peace. Received a free dessert because of a small error the waitress made.
