I have been at Rigolo 3 times since I arrived to SF a year ago. 2 of those times I had a negative experience there. On one occasion, I ordered a soy cappuccino with my breakfast and was given a regular milk cappuccino. When I kindly informed the 2 ladies serving the tables, they got defensive and even had the nerve to doubt what I was stating. One of them said: I saw him (the cappuccino barista) putting soy milk". Lady, If a customer that is lactose intolerant is telling you it isnt soy milk please believe her. I can understand making a mistake but I dont understand servers rudeness doubting a customers word. The third time I visited Rigolo, I ordered a smoked salmon breakfast and it was served without a salad, it came with potatoes instead. I saw the same plate ordered by a neighboring patron and asked if my salmon came with a salad. I was told in a snarky way that if I wanted a salad I had to order in advance as it came with potatoes by default. I tend to shut down when someone speaks rudely to me but I think this would be a time when I should have asked the manager/owner to give me an explanation about this. Perhaps the servers need more training in customer service? if I am asking about a salad, offer me the salad and let me know I can have it for an x amount if that was the problem. I did like the food and the soy cappuccino was fantastic.

The staff is friendly. It feels a bit "fast food restaurant". Its cheap and the food was good. We had the pastry crust pizza eggs florentine. Its not like Quiche. Its like pizza but the dough is a thin puff pastry. It was delicious. We also tried the fresh roasted turkey sandwich which was not that good. Its a cold sandwich made with toast. But we thought its made with a baguette. If you want the baguette thing (which is the big picture on their website) you probably have to order a Tartine (French Melt).

Amazing food in a classy but casual atmosphere. Love the eggs benedict on brioche. Burger and fries excellent, really anything they do with bread is quite tasty. There is a small childrens playground in the back and thus this is a popular destination for families or those visiting one of the many baby-oriented facilities in the area. Decades ago I believe this space may have been Judith Ets-Hokin food and catering. With certainty it was very nearby.

I cant recommend Rigolo Cafe. I really wanted to like this place and tried it more thank once. Its prices are high, the food is just not that good and the staff are not friendly. There is no table service. They have lots of customers at lunch so the wait can be long. I feel the staff are indifferent to the customers.

Excellent and freshly prepared food. We came here for coffee and breakfast and what we got was an extremely delicious omelet and Cropue Madame. The coffee was very flavorful and aromatic. The service is very prompt and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I most certainly and highly recommend this place.

I got vegetarian scramble , really tasteless as were the dry mushy breakfast potatoes. The coffee was good (no after taste or bitterness) but I like it stronger. The fruit bowl was surprisingly good for the time of year. So I ordered a waffle rather than go elsewhere , it was great.

One of my favorites. We stop here every time we are in the area and the kids insist that we stop regardless of what time... Food is excellent, snappy service, reasonable prices, wish I lived closer!!! So far everything has been tasty. Five Stars in my book.

For what you get, the food is pretty over-priced and often the staff cant get the order quite right. Ive had better brunches for less at other places in SF. Also, there are not a lot of vegetarian items on the menu nor vegan - wouldnt take any vegans here.

The food was pretty good - we had eggs and pancakes and other breakfast fare. But I had mainly come here for my kid to use the play area, and that was pretty disappointing. The floor was quite dirty (used tissues, etc.) and many of the toys were broken.

Im a stickler for service! Me and my family were "taken" care of from order to delivery of the food. Well done. Oh, and the food was delicious! A bit pricey but they have to pay for rent in Laurel Heights so I get it. Well be back!

Bonne nourriture mais le personnel est très peu intéressé par les clients. Service peu plaisant

Food that is good and fast but overpriced. They also just raised the prices of food by what looks likes dollar. Menu online doesnt match menu prices in the restaurant. Expect to spend around $12 on a sandwich.

Cupochino served cold, the chefs hair served with the scrambled eggs, potatoes served instead of fruit, paid $2 for past its days side avocado ... . No apologies no a smile. NOT RECOMMEND!

Oatmeal, french toast, egg bacon croissant, water $42.00. Great quality ingredients. Good food, but nothing Ill want to remember. Ability to voice my opinion, priceless.

Good casual food. Sandwiches, salads, or just coffee and pastries. The only downside is that the tables are crammed together, and the noise level can be intense.

Coffee was good. Ambiance is urban. Large windows with countertop seating. This is good coffee and there is always a line. Yes, Ill go again.

Had the el jardinere scramble and it was delicious, the mushrooms were some sort of fancy & tasty kind that added a great flavor.
