So Im going to do this review a little differently, Im going to separate the pros and cons. Pros: Location is very convenient for grabbing a quick bite off campus. The prices are very competitive, some places charge $20+ for soft tofu soup and short ribs but this place charges $18. The food comes out very hot and the serving size is very good. The employees clean up your plates after youre done eatting. (No self cleaning like most places on the ave) Cons: The food is very bland, there needs to be more seasoning. The workers do not seem so welcoming, they dont smile or greet you. The ambience is too crowded and unwelcoming. Overall, because of the food and service this place is a 3 star, but because of location and pricing it is a 3 star. (If that makes sense.) Definitely stop on by and have your own experiences!

Very good Korean food with a fairly wide selection. Ive tried various dishes including bulgogi, soondooboo, seolleongtang, all being quite good. The sides are somewhat inconsistent and not quite as good as Tofu House, but still of fairly good quality. The staff is always quite nice and makes me enjoy buying there! The wait for food when Ive gone recently hasnt been too bad, with 15 minutes probably being the max when it was busy. Prices arent too bad either, though they arent necessarily "cheap" with a standard meal being about $8-10 before tax.

We came here as a last ditch resort during a rainy day and when every other place had insanely long lines. The only plus was that our group of 10 was easily able to find seating (split up). While there, I saw a young cockroach twice right on the counter by my food. After moving, our waiter kept forgetting our banchan. When we finally got it, one had a TANGLE of hair on it. A TANGLE, NOT A STRAND. Plus it was cold and didnt taste good anyway.

This is my favorite restaurant in the U-District. Amazing customer service and great food. One of the only places that has kimbop (Korean style maki rolls)! Every time I go to Green House, I am greeted with smiles and warm welcomes. They always do their best to help me with my limited Korean. I love the owners! Seriously, try this place out, you wont regret it! If you are new to Korean food, get the Bibimbap or Sundubu jjigae

Expensive korean food restaurant that is still in business just because people are too lazy to go somewhere else. Honestly, every single one of their food tastes like someone dipped it in soy sauce and poured a pound of salt on it. So salty that it makes your stomach hurt. You will be done with your rice bowl and 2 cups of water before you finish even half of the soup. Avoid.

This place has totally reasonable korean food! There have been two korean restaurants in the area for a while. The Tofu House around the corner specializes in the korean soups/stews (jigae), while Green House focuses on Bibimbap (mixed rice bowls), tteokbokki, and bulgogi. Really tasty food, good side dishes and free tea. Whats not to like?

The food was terrible, I have never had this bland of a kimchi soup. I asked for spicy but it turned out to be mild. Additionally the staff was extremely rude and made rude comments about me and my group because they didnt think I could understand Korean. Im never going here again.

Great food, nice staff. Vegi bibimbap is excellent. I would recommend this place. One area for improvement is faster clearing of dishes from diners that have finished and departed. Sometimes there are no clear tables because there are so many dirty dishes still on tables.

Delicious Korean food with a twist of Hawaiian and American flavor. Big portion and reasonable price. Seat is not the most comfortable one for a restaurant. But, food does make you forget about it.

I loved the food here two years ago but then I and my friends had many experiences of getting foodborne illness from here so I stopped going...

The worst Koren food that I ever had.I ordered a seafood tofu hot pot. It has only a small piece of shrimp and one tiny clam. A big cheating!

Ordered rabboki but exchanged the noodle with rice cake. Doesnt taste like dduboki at all. Very watery compared to what it should taste like

Overall the food here lacks the complex flavour one might find at a decent Korean tofu house. Disappointing.
