All of my experiences here have been great except for this time. I arrived with 3 other girls and we were excited to sing karaoke. A few of the other girls had ordered a round of drinks as we sang a few songs. Later I went to order from the bar and I was told they werent going to serve me anything because in The bathroom the bartender heard me say "I dont want to take a shot" and apparently that gave her the authority to restrict me from having any more to drink. When she actually saw me face to face she could see I was ok to serve. I am genuinely offended that this woman decided she would not serve me. Before I had even tried to order a drink here she told my sister she would not serve me. I understand not serving people that are out of hand or those who have clearly had too much to drink but in this case I was told "no service" before I even had any. Not sure of the bartenders name but it was NOT misty, she actually was the nicest employee I came across at Palmers tonight. Not impressed.

Only bad thing about this bar is one of the bartenders. Beth, I think her name is. Talk about a complete airhead. Couldnt make a drink to safe her life. & to top it off, she always seems to have a quite charming giant tree branch shoved somewhere it doesnt belong. After 7+ years, one would think that she would take the hint & go quitely into the sunset. Other than that, the rest of the staff completly rocks. In every way. Couldnt think of a better bar to go to.

Really poor service. I sat at the bar, for 15 minutes. Not one employee made eye contact with me, said hello or offered me a drink. I tried to get the attention of several people behind the bar when the walked past. I came to relax and have a beer, I was not able to do either. Place is really run - down and not kept up. Better off paying twice as much at Redmond Bar and Grill where they greet their patrons and clean at night.

Place is quite the happening spot. Its full of the best drunken madness and dancing there is. People hook up left and right. So if your alone for the night, swing by and test fate. Their drinks were good, and while extremely difficult to find a seat, I still enjoyed it. Its the kind of autmosphere you expect from cover charge places that are more exclusive.

Great place to have a great time. Very relaxed during the day, very lively most nights. Servers are friendly and reasonable (some people on here probably got cut off and are whining about it), karaoke after 9 every night and by far the best prices youll find around for food and drinks. Pool table is a dollar per game and so is the dart board (per person).

A dying breed.. Fewer and fewer true dive bars are around anymore with karaoke. Atleast on this side of the 90/520! Great drinks and diverse song selection! The dj knows how to adjust the music to make it sound right and he is hilarious! And only a 15 min commute from Lake Hills so decently close to me. Been once cant wait to go again!

Just wanted to thank the 2 amazing ladies and other staff that work at palmers on the weekends. They are the best bartenders Ive ever met and always show my boyfriend and I absolutely the best service in the world even when its completely jammed packed in there. Thank you thank you!

Last of the great dive bars? Drinks are super cheap (albeit predictably mediocre) and the bartenders are always friendly. Gets busy, but never feels overly so. Food is great traditional bar fare. Pull tabs and peanuts round out the perfect dive bar experience.

Food was really surprisingly good for bar food. But the staff was superb! They were attentive, knowledgeable and really hustled to get everyone whatever they needed. They made a strange in town feel like a local regular patron. Definitely going back!!!

First time going to this bar and they added a 1 in front of the tip I gave them to increase it. Will never go to this sleazy dive bar again. The blonde bartender with the tattooed ring was serving me, watch out for her.

Good food for a great price. We had the fish and chips with house made tartar as well as the battered cod sandwich, both with curly fries. They also have coin-operated darts and pool table in the back. Well be coming back!

I love this place, its the last of the "Northwest Tavern" class of bar. The staff is always friendly even if they are hopelessly bust. Everyone seems to know everyone else and fun is being had. Always a fund night.

The karaoke is really the only reason to visit this place. Their awesome bartenders have left and their food probably isnt worth having. This place is a blast on a late weekend night when Karaoke is popping.

Fun place, great food, good beer selection, decent liquor selection. Tuesday is half off burger nights, and the burgers are already pretty cheap, so you can eat well for under $5 on Tuesdays.

Amazing bar food! Check them out Friday nights for their prime rib starting at 6... best in town! The bar tenders are also super friendly and pour a strong drink. All around a great place!
