We made a reservation for four, and were seated at a table with 2 chairs. When we explained we had two more joining us, they looked confused and went off to find more chairs. The puzzling thing was there were a dozen empty tables surrounding us, all with chairs they could have easily given us. 5 minutes and two additional requests for chairs later, we were given two from the storage area. The waitress was young, and perhaps not experienced. She seemed confused and hurried, but did not appear to have more tables besides us. I ordered the flank steak, and was served a pre cut up steak (I can handle my own knife and fork, thank you very much) on top of some greens. It was so-so... def not worth the $24 price. The steak tasted like olives, and I do not care for olives. Before the steak I had a ceasar salad which was large (a plus) but soaked in dressing (a negative). Our bill for 4, including 4 entrees, my salad, and one shared appitizer, and 4 sodas came to about $120 pre-tip. It was rather expensive for mediocre food. Its one of those places that if you are with a large group and they all wanted to go, youd say, "ehhhh... okay" but not a place you would likely return to yourself. It was average at best.

So dissapointed. Made a reservation and they had us waiting even then. But I had a gift certificate so I was SO excited to go with my husband. He ordered the pesto chicken ravioli. It was delicious. I got smoked salmon alfredo..and it was SO bland. Alfredo sauce should be delicious not taste like your eating noodles with milk. And the waitress had us waiting and did not attend to us. I saw a nearby waiter that was constantly at his tables providing everything. Our waitress was the exact opposite. So sad. Ordered Dessert finally and was delicious. I let her know my entree was really bland I had to add lots of salt and did not enjoy. They gave us the dessert on them which was kind. But after we paid. We overheard her bad mouthing us to another wiater..saying we got a free dinner. That was soooo rude! Like we dont have the right to complain. Im sorry but I rather pay for a delicious meal than have to eat a free meal that is less than mediocre. Overall very disappointed with this place. The only thing we enjoyed was dessert. So sad! Definitely do not and will not recommend!

I have ordered Chicken Marsala at over 30 Italian restaurants, so am somewhat of an expert on the dish. The chef at Spazzo needs to learn the art of Chicken Marsala... thin, pounded slices of chicken - NOT the thick, flavorless hunk of chicken breast that I received, with the VERY bland Marsala sauce. I left 90% of it on the plate, no one said a word. That ought to tell you something about this restaurant. In this tough economy, EVERY dish needs to be perfected and executed very well in order to survive. Note: the best chicken marsala ever???? Bistecca Fiorentina in NYC. Why cant they do that in Seattle???

Dinner for four on a Tuesday evening was great. We were seated right away and ordered drinks and the Asiago appetizer. The appetizer was pretty cool as it was lit on fire at the table and flamed almost 6 feet in the air. Drinks took a little while to arrive but they did a great job with keeping our water glasses filled. Side salad were pretty good and dinner was delicious. I had the lamb and my companions had various other dishes which were all great. We were stuffed so had to pass on dessert but the tray looked wonderful. It was a great experience and well definitely come back in the future.

Ambience there was nice and mellow...the whole restaurant had more of a wine bar feel. Our server was definitely a newer guy, or at least he gave that vibe. He was overly eager to push appetizers, drinks, dessert on us - Im sure with time and experience hell learn to be more tactful about it. Food was great, delivered promptly to the table. Had a couple of pizzas that were shared, nothing too significant but still done properly. I felt bad that we used a daily deal voucher and as a result it took off all the associated tax so I tried to make up for it by tipping way over the amount at least.

Heard that the restuarant was great. I took my wife and a coworker to dinner and was not pleased. My wife had the risotto, which was runny, and flavorless. I had the gnocci which was chewy and again lacked any sort of seasoning. My coworker had the salmon, which he said was a little dry but not horrible. Our wait staff was mediocre at best and the prices were excessive for what we recieved. If you like bland food that any average person could make at home for half the price, then go for it. For good Italian, go to Sages in Redmond.

Came for late hh on a Saturday night. Only 2 other tables were there. Ordered calamari, meatballs, Brussels sprouts, ceasar salads, and a fish n chips. Everything was great! Calamari bomb, substituted the aioli instead of marinara. Salads good size and tasty, meatballs juicy flavorful, brussel sprouts were good but too much sauce for me. Halibut n chips great price for 2 decent size pieces and very yummy fries!!

Party of 5, one was a child. Service was really bad. Forgot a drink first, didnt put sauce on the side for second, asked for water and waitress said "its right in front of you" bread was hard and dry. Got chicken parm and Alfredo. Alfredo was super small portion and super gross. Chicken parm was alright. Pepsi even tasted off. The waitress was super rude. Way, way over priced. Wont come back.

Ive been there 4 times in 8 month. First 2 times it was OK. The third time, I had the worst lasagna I ever had: greasy, poorly cooked and bad tasting ingredients. The forth time, the pizza I had was made with pre-cooked crust!!! - you know the curst you get in Safeway, wrapped in plastic. And it costs $15! What a disappointment. I strongly suggest you avoid the place!

Stopped in last weekend to burn a gift cert, we all had a good experience (went in wary based on reviews), the blue cheese/horseradish steak sammy was awesome, will go back again just for that. My daughters chicken fingers from the kids menu was a nicely prepared breaded breast, sliced after cooking. The product we had was of good quality, service was solid, value was OK.

Overpriced barely Italian style food. If you like over cooked and bland spaghetti and meatballs youll love this place. I expected more given that there are amazing Italian places within blocks from this terrible pass at Italian. Best Italian in Redmond: Tropea and Sages. BEST Italian outside of Italy La Spiga in Seattle.

Came in on a weekday evening for dinner with a toddler. It took a while for the server to take orders and another while to get the bread. We ordered chicken Marsala and pesto chicken ravioli. Both tasted fine but on the heavy side. The house bread was mediocre. For the price they charge I would expect for better quality.
