sorry, after falling for a glowing recommendation, was truly disappointed by dining experience. my business associate ordered a steak cooked medium, what he received was well done and then told that he should cut into the middle to see its medium. Im sorry, since when is well done with something a little pink in the very middle of a steak acceptable. requested a manager come to the table to discuss the situation and our waiting 25 minutes for a replacement, person was "too Busy" to come to the table. waitress was MIA and never bothered to see if we needed anything, only person who cared was the wait staff who filled water glass. for the price this place is a real waste of $$$. have dined globally, this establishment would rate less than a Dennys.

We have totally enjoyed going to Mankas Steakhouse on many occasions. Chef Peter and his team create some of the best appetizers, entrees and deserts in the area. The Ahi Tuna Tar tare and Lobster Bisque are my favorite appetizers. The roasted beet salad totally rocks. And for you meat and steak lovers, the Rib-eye, Filet and Rubbed baby back ribs are out of this world. As an added note, you HAVE TO TRY the macaroni and cheese, its like no other dish youll ever experience, I promise! They have great music and dining entertainment and the service is warm, inviting, and very friendly. Ask for Tim and tell him I sent you. A 5-star worthy choice for sure~

This place is amazing!! We came here for a late dinner on a Monday night and were pleasantly surprised. The server was very attentive and the serving sizes were appropriate and cost area appropriate.... We came for dinner again Wednesday of the same week. A great atmosphere nice place and it turns out that server is part owner of the restaurant Tim. Very knowledgeable and tries to use as much local food and produce as possible so recreating the flavors and tastes and textures here almost impossible. There is also a pretty vast selection of adult beverages wines liquors and beers

We tried the lobster bisque appetizer, which they graciously split an order into 2 servings. It had a wonderful flavor. Next, I ordered the rack of ribs which proved to be rib perfection! The seasoning was perfect and the meat fell right off the bone. The homemade BBQ sauce added a sweet/tangy flavor to the perfect ribs. The coleslaw accompanying the ribs had an old style flair with the diced apples and hints of pineapple. One of the BEST meals I have ever had in Fairfield. And the BEST RIBS I have ever eaten! We will definitely go back again. Service was also excellent.

Simply stated, this place is excellent. In a small town setting this place provides an amazing experience of superb service and excellent food. The menu has some rare options to choose from. The calamari, the lobster bisque...absolutely perfection both in taste and in presentation. We found the whole experience amazing and we enjoyed the opportunity to pair our entrees with a local wine that was impressive. For the price, this is simply one of the best experiences weve had in a long time.

Tried to schedule wedding rehearsal dinner a month in advance and this place said well have a manager get back to you, which never happened. After a couple of calls I finally got a manager that said we cannot accommodate it. They never were going to call me back. Have eaten there and it is not priced accordingly and the sauce for the ribs is really bad. However, overall it would have been convenient with decent food, but just really poor service!

If youre looking for a fancy dinner in a remote location, this is your place. Plenty of seating, but you should make reservations on weekends and nights with Live Music. Excellent wine selection. Lots of meat options, but limited vegetarian and seafood options (but they do have them). Live Music on the patio is a very fun "local" experience. They can accommodate large groups. Service was fast, efficient, and friendly.

We contracted with Mankas for a last minute event. They were very accommodating and great pricing. Chef Courtney was wonderful to work with. All of the staff was great, respectful and perfect for the event. While over caterers have left messes behind, the Mankas team left everything in exceptional condition. Food was wonderful! Appetizers and buffet, we honestly had no complaints whatsoever. We will be using them regularly!!

Not a bad experience, food was good, cocktails were nice, servers etc. Definitely some sticker shock when looking at the menu and finally receiving the check, however. This price to pay to dine here would have been non issue if I were somehow transported, restaurant and all, to the Napa Valley while enjoying this meal. But hey, this is Fairfield, its either Mankas or Chevys. Oh, and Buffalo Wild Wings with extra flair...

Came here to have some steak but sadly the only option of stake they had was sirloin . I still dont get why the name steakhouse because they dont have any steak options. Shouldve called it winery or something likely since they have a big menu of wines but a two page menu for food with only sirloin :( . Other than that the service was good !

We went here on date night. Our expectations were not that high but boy were we wrong. The service and the food were top notch. Having been to some very high end establishments before they did a great job reaching that level of service and food quality. I would certainly go here again.

We finally have a really good steakhouse in Fairfield. Texas Roadhouse is good but this is better. It is a little expensive so we save it for a special occasion. Last time I had the osso buco tender and good. I wish I could go there all the time.

Charming high end restaurant with a lovely patio area. If you are sampling local wines you can bring your own bottle without a corkage fee. Service and food were both excellent an although a bit pricey it was worth ever penny!

Depending on the server you will have a great time. More than not i have had a good experience. Food is a little over priced but you will for get that once you are there.
