Fascistic Food! I am not an easy palate to please when it comes to Indian food. Jabbing lives in a Punjabi family for 10 years set the bar high for how things should taste. Basically, I leave most Indian restaurants saying the food wasnt as good my mother-in-laws. But not at Bukhara! Oh my goodness! Everything has just the right flavor, nuance, color, texture... So so so good. The wait staff can be inconsistent. There are a handful of guys that are fantastic: prompt, knowledgeable, on point with your order. And there are occasionally one or two that just dont quite seem to get it together. But the food NEVER disappoints. My family and I eat here 2-3 times a month. Were currently working our way through the menu. I highly recommend: Manchurian Gobi, Aloo Chole (with batura), Shahi Paneer, and Palak Paneer. Honestly though, everything on the menu is wonderful so try anything!

Wonderful restaurant! I had never eaten at an Indian restaurant until last night and because of Bukhara, I have definitely fallen in love! The Tikki Marsala was absolutely delicious and you get to choose your desired spiciness, which my husband LOVED because he really doesnt like spicy food. Our waiter was so attentive, nice, and made excellent recommendations. The other staff kept topping off our waters before they even reached the bottoms and were always making sure we were good and satisfied. Will definitely be going back again, again, and again! YUM! P.S. If you like smoothies/dont drink alcohol like me, I definitely recommend trying their Mango Lassi. Mango, yogurt, 100% delicious.

What a great night, the food presented was truly as beautiful as it was delicious. This meal was true to itself, in that its remarkable authenticity was unmistakable. That being said, the wait staff is yet to come to fruition. We sat next to a cash register (cash register areas are tacky), and as the wait staff took each tables order, they would bring the menus and stack them behind me (bothersome and disruptive). The waiters need to explain each and every dish as they place them. (In front of you sir is the... today sir you are having the... to begin your meal, the chef offers...) we got "That one is the lamb" (while it was being placed in front of the wrong person)

They certainly dont skimp on the portions here. Ive tried their butter chicken and lamb (royal) briyani. The butter (boneless) chicken was rich and velvety. Its certainly on the sweeter side compared to butter chicken at other restaurants though by no means bad. Ill certainly have to try their tikka masala and/or a little extra spice added to it next time. The lamb briyani was well spiced and lamb pieces were nice and tender. Also tried the garlic naan which was a drenched in minced garlic/butter so be prepared when ordering.

This is a surprising little gem! We came here on a weekday afternoon. This place accepts my Passport Corporate discount card, so I came in for a lunch buffet that was under $10. We had plenty to choose from, and the naan was especially fresh since they do not leave it sitting out. The food was a little slow to replenish, but it is understandable because there were not a lot of other patrons. Overall, great restaurant. 10/10 would come again.

On the way to the theatre, we decided to mix it up a bit and try something new. Open atmosphere does not make for intimate dining if that is what you desire, but the people are very friendly and attentive. I had the lamb vindaloo and my friend had the mango curry. We ordered extremes on heat-very mild and extra hot. Truly both hit the mark. Both were tasty. The rice was also good. No room for dessert however, so another visit will be required.

Best Indian on the east side. We had the chicken korma and Karachi. Both were delicious. Update: Weve been back for take out probably a dozen times. All of them wonderful. Its frankly very difficult to find that level of consistency with this level of quality. The second best Indian meal Ive had besides Bukhara is at Dishoom in London, UK. But thats a bit far to travel for dinner. Point being, stop reading this and go order something.

I only had the chance to try the buffet food, but there were tons of options and the food tastes good. I have had better tasting Indian food in Issaquah, but that is ordered fresh off the menu, not buffet style. A buffet always takes a quality hit compared to menu fresh. I have not had a chance to try the food off the menu yet, so I wanted to put in that disclaimer.

Love the mango lamb and chana masala. My wife loves the mango martini. The samosa chat delight is also something special that I have only seen here. I was not impressed with the prawns. My impression is that they were cooked and frozen, then re-cooked in the sauce. Quality was fine but way overcooked. Sill our favorite indian restaurant on the east side.

The food can be hit and miss. Last visit was wrecked by too many cardamom and star anise pods left in the food. The curries are outrageously good. The basmati rice is fluffy and cooked to perfection. Live Jazz by Lloyd Chisolm and his band on weekends. The bar is well-stocked, but service is a gamble. Be prepared for lengthy waits to receive food.

We have been here twice. One of the best Indian food in the area. Very good quality food (fresh), very good service (difficult to find in Seattle Metro area), very good dining ware (Corelle) & silverware, and good ambience. I would recommend Bukhara Bar & Grill to everyone out there looking for very good quality Indian food.

I come here a lot to watch games. Not a lot of people at the bar but the wait staff are very friendly and the beers are great. Food is standard northern Indian food. I find if you order it it hot its very good. Buffet here is ok. Menu is better. I recommend it for a quiet dinner or for a beer and some appetizers.

This is a new place in Issaquah, opened in place of old Amente pizza. The food tasted really good but the service was a bit mixed. Also for my meal, the goat meat had a lot of large pieces of bones so there wasnt much meat but same wasnt the case for what my wife got, also with goat meat.

Great buffet! Second time eating buffet and third time overall. Food is some of the best Indian food Ive ever had. I highly recommend. They also bring fresh naan to the table which is better than simply setting it out 25th the rest of buffet. Small touch, but makes a difference.

Ive only been to the lunch buffet, but it is sooo good. I highly recommend the buffet which has a good selection of hot and cold items. They keep the naan hot and fresh which is always a challenge in a buffet. The staff is very attentive and they always keep your water filled.

We loved Bukhara Bar & Grill! The service was very friendly and attentive. The vegetable pankora with dipping sauces, garlic naan, butter chicken, coconut curry lamb, and cold Kingfisher beer were delicious. The ambiance is clean, modern and comfortable. We will be back!

Excellent. Ran into some of the servers/owners from their previous place ( which is great). They have treated me well for years and have wonderful service. I cant wait to be a regular here. The food here is excellent. I recommend everyone try Bukhara.
