We waited well over an hour for food to be served to a table of four, no special orders or complicating factors. Our burgers were incorrect, the fries were out of a bag, the bread and buns were tough, sides of green beans and mashed potato were canned and powdered respectively, the fish filets were Gortons breaded halibut, and the general quality of miscellaneous ingredients was below par. While we waited, we overheard the waitress tell an elderly woman seated nearby that the "chef" was not taking more than one order at a time, she would have to wait. We were charged $2 per person for use of the ATM when they refused our cards without posted warning. Our bill was absurd. Do not patronize this joke of an establishmen unless you are immortal, hate good food, and would otherwise set fire to your money. On second thought, setting fire to money would be a more fun and constructive expenditure of your time.

Really wanted to like this cute little americana-style cafe/coffee shop. We went here for dinner on a Saturday evening I liked the friendly cozy atmosphere, the historic kitsch all over, old RodRun posters from bygone years, and good service. But the food quality just wasnt there, especially for the prices. My wifes reuben, served on marbled rye, was a sorry slice of corned beef folded in half with cheese that looked like it wasnt designed to be melted. My Halibut Fish & Chips, passable, fish a little overcooked, served alongside frozen shoestring fries and uninspired coleslaw. Along with 2 cups of coffee and tip we were set back $40. This is probably a great place to get a bottomless cup of average coffee and shoot the breeze with the locals, and I imagine they couldnt harm breakfast too much, but Ill take a pass on dinner here again

The food and service was good but the expensive cost isn’t warranted by the meager ambience of the place. The menu is a simple one page photocopy inserted into protective sleeves. The décor, such that it is, is reminiscent of an unembellished 1965 drive in that has seen better times. Cokes are $3.50 a glass and the Berry Patch doesn’t serve alcohol nor take credit cards. Perhaps being isolated at the end of the Long Beach Peninsula, the restaurant doesn’t have to be cost or ambience competitive. It cost over $70 for essentially hamburgers and fish & chips for 4. Again, the food and service were excellent, though we frequently visit Ocean Park, we will never eat there again.

Waitress was great but cook reversed our eggs. We were the only customers and there were only two of us so maybe just a bad day? Food quality was above average. I had eggs, hash browns, and fried oysters. The oysters were cooked to perfection. While good, the meals were very %Droverpriced. Over $30 (without tip) for two 2 egg plates with a glass of orange juice ($3.00) and glass of soda ($3.50) is out of line and to top it off when I went to pay found out they would not take a card but had convienently placed an ATM next to the register so I could pay a $2 fee to get cash to pay them. Not sure if we will return or not.

This is a cheery little spot, obviously a favorite of the locals as everyone seems to know everyone elses name. Conversation seems to revolve around local events and folks. The service was thoroughly adequate, if not exactly attentive or speedy. The food is plentiful for the price, we had lunch there and spent about 20 dollars between the two of us. The menu includes deep fried seafood, fries, burgers, hotdogs, thick clam chowder, and a couple of salads. They also have shakes and ice cream desserts.

The server was rude and unprofessional. The food was VERY expensive some of the food was cold, after 30 minutes of waiting they returned to our table and told us the food we ordered was not in stock, other people got served before us. When the waitress was questioned about the service she replied that she would have comped us if we were kind... at the end of the transaction she did apologize. She was given $32 for a $27 tab and claimed we shorted her $5. Will not go back

Overcharged on 3 of the menu items and acted like nothing was wrong. Just a dollar over on each meal but this to me....... is price gouging. Waitress has been working there for quite some time. Breakfast. youd think they would know the price of each item on the menu. We were targeted as tourist. We are actually native Washington res and looking to buy property in the area. Wont forget this one. Sad day for Berry patch. :(

Our server was pleasant. And the food was quickly prepared. I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries and my daughter had the chicken strips and fries. My burger was huge and yummy, just a little to much mayo for me tho. I didnt try my daughters strips tho. Prices were a little shocking to me but I guess thats what you can expect when there arent that many food places around.

Lunch pooooooooor food quality service was satisfactory. My son who eats everything and anything was hungry hungry left his food and used his own money at the grocery store to buy a pre-made sandwich and chips. He says Okies is great.

The waitress was friendly a nice environment. The food even came out quickly, not to mention the food was pretty good. The only reason Im giving it 4 stars is because how over priced everything was.

There were small puddles of cooking spray underneath the eggs and the hash browns were soaked in it. The server was nice. The French toast was thin and over cooked.

Oyster Shooter was large, excellent taste. Halibut Fish was lightly breaded and very crispy. Loved the thin french fries. Excellent meal. Will go back.

We were all eating fried things that day and it was pretty good. One thing to watch out for is that they only take cash or personal check.
